That Story By An Author That Made This Annoyingly & Unnecessary Long Title

Ferguson

I didn't want to make a rant about this, I really didn't. But it appears that so many of you are unaware of what has happened in Ferguson.

Racism. That is what has happened in Ferguson. And to be quite honest, this rant is LATE. I should have been wriitng this rant last night or yesterday, but here I am ranting about it now.

Basically, a black young man was shot to death for doing NOTHING. Yes, nothing. He was innocent, wasn't causing anyone harm, but he was shot to death. Hands in the air, in surrender, pleaing for the shooter not to shoot once more. But no, he shoots several more times, killing him to death. But why? Why would this man be shot?

Simply, because he was black. And you wouldn't BELIEVE who shot this man. A cop. Yes, the people that are suppose to PROTECT us and make us feel SAFE, one of them killed an innocent man. Oh, wouldn't have known.

This cop was white.

Of course, the Ferguson police department has been trying to keep it all secret, trying to keep everyone ignorant as to all that has happened. But guess what Ferguson police? I'M NOT FUCKING BUYING IT. I'M DONE PUTTING UP WITH THIS RACISM CRAP, I'M DONE.

This young black man is named Michael Brown, or Mike Brown. He didn't deserve to be killed, no, not because of his skin color. It's truly and utterly disgusting.

A peaceful protest started. PEACEFUL PROTEST LADIES AND GENTLEMEN. Oh, guess what happens? Well, they all get teargas grenades and rubber bullets thrown at them. How wonderful, Ferguson police. Very mature way to handle things. Kids can surely learn from you.

Oh, that's not all. Journalists and media are being ARRESTED for posting news as to what has been happening. ARRESTED FOR REVEALING THEM. Yet again, very mature. 

This leaves me speecheless. This is two thousand and fucking fourteen, not the fucking 50s. I thought we've learned a thing about Martin Luther King Jr? Have you learned nothing from him? Slavery? Segregation? South African Apartheid? ANYTHING?

 

I thought we've learned from our past. Why do non black teenagers still think it's okay to say the "n" word? I just...ugh.

It gets worse guys...people are DEFENDING the police. They really are. Obviously, their opinions are uneducated and not well thought out. Dont listen to those kinds of people, kids.

What I've seen on Tumblr is horrendous. White people are getting mad, sending various Tumblr users the same fucking phrase that makes my ears and eyes bleed.

" Not all white people."

Wow, sound familiar? being stereotyped and generalized because of your skin. Hmm. Let that sink in, everyone.

WAIT I'M NOT DONE MY CHILDREN.

Hey, guess what they're doing in the lovey city of Chicahoe- I mean, Chicago. Apparently, there's gonna be a 60 day "criminal" search in "troubled" neighborhoods. Meaning, they're gonna go hunt down anyone who's not white. 

Wow, great way to make Aneliz feel safe. Yes, Aneliz feels VERY safe and content knowing that cops will be coming into peoples houses and basically disrupting sleep, or any other occasion, on random families trying to peacefully live their lives. In my case, its worse. Because I have [extended] FAMILY living in those types of homes. I'm scared shitless because those fucking cops will be coming into their homes and quite possibly killing them.

How the hell am I not gonna be angry, Chicago? Hmm? Why are you letting this happen?

Before you start sending me messages worrying about my safety, I'm fine. I live in a rich town and there's only a couple of crime that goes on around this town of mine, I will be fine, and so will my family. 

My hopes all go to those in Ferguson and Chicago <3

This makes me upset and fucking shit why. Of course, I missed out on some parts. I only really focused on the main things that happened. If you want more information, simply search up "Ferguson" and no shit it will be the first thing that pops up. Also, the "ferguson" tag on Tumblr is actually good as well.
