Chapter 4 : The Players
Aireal’s P.O.V.
After Shay slipped into her room, I slowly crept into mine. I laid in bed for another half an hour with questions flowing in and out of my thoughts. Why did she kiss me? Why did she kiss me like that? Does she like me? Well obviously she does or she wouldn’t have kissed me. What does that make us?
All these questions really made my head spin. I finally fell into a restless sleep, and I woke up with cold sweats. I got maybe an hour of sleep. Why can’t I just get one good night of sleep?

Aireal’s P.O.V
It’s 8am and I’ve been playing video games for two hours, waiting for Natie to wake up. But she’s smiling at the moment and she looks so peaceful that I almost don’t want her to. Almost.
“Pew! Pew Pew Pew!” I yell a little too loudly so Natie will wake up. “Die zombies! Die!”
She stirs in her sleep and a see she’s slowly waking up. I switch to an automatic and raise the volume a few notches. Gun shots and the noise of zombies heads exploding fill the room and I see Natie’s eyes flutter open a few times.
“What are you doing?” She says between a yawn.
“Well, I’m currently fighting for the human race.” I stated smugly. My plan has worked, HeHeHe.
“Well knock it off. I’m tired.” She rolls over in bed and buries her head under the pillows.
“Oh nuh uh! You have to wake up and show me around!” I pout, but can’t hide the excitement in my tone.
She shoots up with a scowl on her face. “That’s right. I do have to show you around. Oh bother.” She says sarcastically, but I can see a smile playing at the corner of her lips.
I pause my game and toss a pillow at her, which smacks right into her face. I giggle at her shocked expression and point to the bathroom. “Oh, you know you love me! Go get ready and then let’s head out!” I start bouncing up and down. I’m actually kind of excited about this.
She slowly gets up and makes her way into the bathroom. I get up and start searching through my clothes. Finally deciding on a tight black tank top with white ripped skinny jeans, I put on a pair of black and white striped All-Star Converse and make my way over to the vanity. I plug in my straightener, put on a little bit of concealer and foundation, and then carefully put on some black eyeliner and mascara. I run the straightener over my wavy hair and take extra care to straighten my bangs and side fringe. When it’s all straightened, I shake my head a few times and then flip my hair. I lightly tease the back of it and put in a purple and black extension on either side of my head, to make it seem like I have lowlights.
“You look hot.” Natie says as she’s coming out of the bathroom, all ready and dressed.
“Thanks, so do you.” I say, wagging my eyebrows playfully.
And she does. She’s got on a little blue silk shawl thing that the girls in India wear, along with a matching skirt that hits around her shins. With her hair mostly strait, aside from a large curl on the side of her face, and light earthy colored shades of makeup, she looks really great.
