Chapter 13 : Audition
Aireal’s P.O.V.
Ughh, I groan to myself. Finally, I can go to choir... Err, theatre, and just sing and have fun. Stupid teachers and their stupid quizzes and tests.
All day long it was quiz after quiz; test after test, and at this point in time, I am just super glad that I can sing. And we’re joining up with the theatre class. I love it! Theatre is amazing. I took it for my freshman year and the first half of my sophomore year. I only had it half the year though because of my dad making me come to Williston Academy, but I truthfully missed choir, so I’m happy with the schedule I have gotten. And this totally just makes me insanely happy.
I walk through the auditorium doors and inspect the class. I recognize a few faces in the room. Becky, Mark, and Willis from Spanish, Ted and Miranda from gym. There are a few others, but I can’t remember their names. I quickly see Mr. Ross and Ricky huddled over by the piano that has been set on the left side of the stage.
What are they talking about?
“Hey Air! Over here!” I snap my attention over to Caity.
“Oh. Hey guys.” I say with a smile as I make my way to the group. I can’t help but sneak another glance over at the duo on stage.
“How’s your day Air?” Spencer asks cheerfully.
“It’s long and test filled.” I say, with a hint of agitation in my voice.
“Oh. That sucks. Mine was sorta the same.” He comments with sympathy.
“Same here.” Natie and Caity say.
We hear the doors open and look up just in time to see some very attractive boy walk in, with no other than Aphrodite attached to his arm.
Ugh! I didn’t know she was in this class, I think silently.
“She’s in here?” Caity asks, slightly annoyed.
“Evidently.” I mumble sarcastically.
I glance back over to see her glaring daggers at my head. Great.
I see movement behind her and look back, only to see Drew and Brayden walking down behind her, Brayden smirking as he watches her ass wiggle.
“Drew!” Caity jumps up and practically screams at him. His head snaps up from watching the ground to search for the source of the scream.
His eyes reach Caity and he visibly lights up, with a small blush threatening to creep up to his face. “Hey Caity!” He beams an adorable smile her way.
I look back between them. They’d make a cute couple…
“Come here and give me a freaking hug.” She beams at him, her arms outstretched widely.
It’s one of those movie moments, where it’s like they’re running in slow motion on a beach and about to run into a deep embrace. But in actuality, they’re in an auditorium and aren’t running in slow motion. But they are running, and pretty darn fast too.
“Oof!” I hear the air being knocked out of both of them as they make contact and smash into each other. They both let out a groan of pain.
