I'm sorry that I haven't updated in a while. I promise I will more often now.

"So hey, we brought our drum and this is how we dance. No mistakin', we make our breaks, if you don't like our 808's, then leave us alone, 'cause we don't need your policies, we have no apologies for being."

Another body, oof.
The rest of the Halloween party was cancelled, and everyone went home. Which is sad, but not really a surprise. I got picked up in my Mums car (in me mums caar, vroom vroom I thought). My Mom kept asking me if I was okay on the ride back home.
"Mom," I said to her, "I need to talk to the others. Can you drop me off at Bronwyn's house?"
"Of course, just make sure you get home by one in the morning. Okay?"
"Okay," I said and swear I caught her wink at me when she said 'one in the morning'.

I walked up to Bronwyn's house and knocked on her door, almost immediately the door opened and I saw her standing with a robe on.
"Everything alright?" I asked her.
"Yes, come in, I have to ask you something," she said quickly and ushered me into her living room.
I looked and saw Emily, Autumn, Rayna, Maya and Holly were already in here. "What is going on?" I asked her.
"We headed here immediately after he dance," Bronwyn explained.
"Yeah, no kidding."
"And we've got a plan," Autumn said quickly. "Maya found a note in Alexia's house and it led to Silverkeep. Guess where we're going?"

Sheriff Ashford agreed to drive us to the edge of town, Rayna refused to come, apparently her parents needed her home.
Bronwyn has a van so I sat in the far back with Emily. Holly, Autumn, and Maya sat in the middle and Bronwyn sat in the passenger seat beside her father.
I was wondering why her father was so chill about all of this.

Finally, we reached the end of town. Sheriff Ashford hopped out of his van, and we followed.
"So here we are," he said. "Be careful," he then said directly at Bronwyn. She nodded with a straight face, then he hugged her and got back into his van. We watched as he drove away.
Then I looked to everyone else and Holly said, "what now?"

We walked into Silverkeep, and we decided it would be best to head to Silverkeep High. Well, we didn't really pick as a majority's Maya is reading the letter that Alexia wrote before leaving and it mentions something about going there.
Wow, this place is so different compared to Easthaven I thought. I looked up into the dark sky and saw the moon.
All of a sudden I heard a voice yell, "who's there?" It was male, and was coming from the alleyway right next to us. Emily and Autumn jumped.
I squinted into the alleyway and I saw a boy that looked about our age standing there.
"I said, who's there?" He said louder and I saw him pull something out of his pocket. Autumn backed up.
"We're not here for a fight, we're just looking for someone," Autumn said.
"And who're you looking for?" Another voice said. "You don't look like you're from Silverkeep. Easthaven, maybe?" She said to the boy.
"Likely," he said. "Who're you looking for?"
"Alexia Rodriguez," Bronwyn answered.
They went in silence. Then a girl stepped forward, she had dyed blue hair and it went down to her shoulders. "You're looking for Alexia?"
"Hazel?" Maya asked.
"Maya?" Hazel said surprised.
"What're you doing here? Don't you live near the school?" Maya asked her.
"Yeah, I moved. A lots happened since you and Alexia left," Hazel explained.
Maya looked past Hazel and said, "you guys can come out."
Five more people, three girls and two dudes, came out of the alleyway into the light.
"Okay, wow," Holly mumbled.
"Do you guys think you can help us look for Alexia?" Maya asked them. "More importantly," her face turned grim, "do you know where she is?"

They led us down towards Silverkeep High, they told us they didn't know where she was, and they haven't seen her in a while. But I didn't fully trust them.
I stood next to Bronwyn and a girl with dark dirty blonde hair was walking on my other side. I think her name was Claire.
Eventually, we reached a big building that literally looked like a prison. But it turned out to be the school, because I saw a sign that read 'SILVERKEEP HIGH' and a picture of a arctic fox.
"Well, this is the school," I heard Hazel say up ahead.
"It looks different," I also heard Maya say.
"As I said, a lot has changed," Hazel said sadly. And then her voice went low and I only heard three words: 'kind of like'.
And then I saw Maya roll her eyes.

We were looking for ages. Along the way we got a tour by Hazel and some of the others in Silverkeep High along the way, it was quite fun.
The school was much different than Easthaven High, because the people are different. The only thing that was pretty much the same was the amount of graffiti in the washroom. But I'm Silverkeep, that's pretty much everywhere.
We looked in Alexia's old locker and everything. We also looked at places that they assumed she would be in. She was nowhere.
I could tell everyone was quite worried for her. She would probably never do this.
Unless something happened back home.

We were led back the edge of town by Hazel and the girl named Lola.
"I'm sorry we couldn't help," Hazel said with a sad smile. "I hope you find her."
"Thank you," I said to them. They smiled.
"Good luck," Lola said and we turned around to leave. As we started to walk away, I couldn't help but to strain my ears to hear what Hazel was saying to Lola.
"—let's tell her," Hazel whispered to Lola. I felt a plummet in my chest.
Did they know where she was the whole time?
