The Big News

Emma's POV

*BEEP* *BEEP* *BEEP*

"SHUT UP" I yelled as I sat up. Well I guess it's time to get up. I sat there and thought today will most likely be nothing big so I went to go and put on some jean shorts and a sky blue tank top. I went into the bathroom and brushed my teeth and then I put my hair into a ponytail. Now it's time to do my makeup. I thought to myself that if I was going to be playing on my phone all day and be lazy I will just put on some concealer and then mascara. After I finished that I went downstairs to grab something to eat. I wound up only getting a protein bar because I didn't want to make anything big. My mom isn't home in the morning so I have to make myself breakfast. After I finished eating I decided I wanted to go outside because it's a beautiful day out so I went and slipped on my black vans and grabbed my phone from my room. "Three missed calls" I read as I opened my phone up to the home screen. "FROM KAITLYN", I yelled. This had to be important because she never called me at this time. It's only 9:00, she is never up by then. I went outside and I called Kaitlyn back. She answered on the first ring and yelled "OH MY GOSH YOU WONT BELIEVE WHAT JUST HAPPENED". I am assuming this had to do with Magcon. I was wrong. It had nothing to do with Magcon, nor the boys. "WHAT, WHAT IS IT" I replied. "YOUR MOM SAID NOT TO TELL YOU BUT I CANT KEEP IT ANY LONGER". Of course my mom had something to do with this and that's probably why she hasn't talked to me in a while. Before I answered her she yelled back "YOUR COMING TO ALABAMA FOR YOUR BIRTHDAY". "OH MY GOD. I AM SO HAPPY RIGHT NOW YOU DONT EVEN UNDERSTAND", I yelled. All of my neighbors were staring at me by this point. "Wait... how long have you known this for missy" I snapped. "Well it was supposed to be a surprise from me and your mom for your birthday and you know how I am with presents. Always wait till the last few days. So your answer is since two days ago." She replied. "How could you not hold it in for two days." I asked. "Well I'm also not the one for keeping surprises." She answered. We went on with our conversation for almost an hour longer until she had to go. "I can't believe I'm going to Alabama!" All of that wishing finally payed off.
