I Just Need Some Space

Emma's POV

I started running towards the hotel room and everything went black... "EMMA! EMMA!" I heard someone screaming. I woke up with tears all over my face, running down my cheek. Someone instantly hugged me and knowing it was Matt, I hugged back. "What's wrong babe?!?" he asked loudly. "I-I-I don't know." I answered. This nightmare, it happened before. He hugged me even tighter. "Can you sleep with me tonight?" I asked still crying. "Of course." he said without hesitating. He walked to his bed and back grabbing his pillow. He lied down next to me and put his arm around me. The last words I heard were "Don't worry. I'll keep you safe." before I fell back asleep.

Morning

I woke up the next day and turned around to see nobody next to me. I checked my phone for the time and it was only 9:00. It's weird for him to be up this early. I went into the bathroom and wiped off the excess mascara that I had cried last night. I put on a sweatshirt and threw my hair into a messy bun. Once I got my phone and shoes on I set out to find the others. I was walking down the hallway when I heard yelling from one of the rooms. "WHAT?!?" "WHAT?!?" I heard Matt and Cameron yell one after another. I walked in and saw Cameron laying on the bed as everyone crowded around. The camera was recording and everyone but Cameron was laughing. I walked over and saw that Nash was waxing Cams leg, struggling to get some of it off. "Doing it right," he said as he pointed to Nash's leg, "doing it wrong." he finished while shifting his gestures to his own leg. At first I was confused but then I realized that they didn't make their video the other day and that's mainly the reason why they went to the store and that whole Liliane thing happened. Once they ended the video Matt came over to me and hugged me. "Hey babe. You better from last night?" "Yeah I'm fine now. It was just another nightmare." I answered. "Okay good." "We have one more free day which is today." Cam said. "Can I take the car to go somewhere?" I asked having an idea of what I'll be doing today. "Uh... sure?" he said back handing me the keys. He gave me a weird look as I started heading out the door. "Wait where are you going?" Nash asked. "Somewhere." I said slamming the door behind me. I went back to my room and grabbed my purse, some makeup, and sunglasses. Shortly after I was in the car driving to this "somewhere". I turned on my phone and dialed a number. "Hey mom? I'm coming home." "Okay. Is something wrong?" she asked. Tons of thoughts ran through my mind. I couldn't tell her half of them so I just said, "No I'm fine. I just wanted to see you." What I wound up saying wasn't intentional but it wasn't a complete lie. I missed seeing her. "Okay." she said. "I'll be there in 30 minutes." I started, "Love you." "Love you too." she said hanging up the phone. I turned up the radio and turned off my thoughts. For the next half an hour my mind was empty. Once I arrived at the house I saw a few cars parked in our driveway. I got out of the car grabbing my stuff and being careful not to slip on the ice. Opening the door, I saw a bunch of people in my living room. "Em!" my mom said as I ran up the stairs heading towards my room. "Hold on!" I yelled down to her. I set everything down on my bed and then jumped onto it. It feels good to be home. After a minute of just peacefully laying there I decided I should probably go and say hi to my mom. I limped down the stairs and gave her a hug. I looked around and saw people that I had no clue of their existence. I whispered in my moms ear asking who they were. "This is my daughter Emma. Emma these are some people I work with." she said. Well this isn't awkward at all... note the sarcasm. "Okay well I'm going to go upstairs and finish getting ready." I mumbled. I ran up the stairs and got on my phone. My phone was blowing up with texts from all of the guys and girls.

Babe😘 (Matt): Hey are you okay?

Nash👀: Where are you?

Cameron👊🏻: What are you doing?

Hayes✌🏻️: Are you coming back today?

Kaitlyn💞: WHY ARENT YOU ANSWERING?!?

Johnson🎧: Kaitlyn is freaking out you know.

Taylor🙈: Seriously are you okay?

Me: I'm fine. I just had to have some space. I'll be back later.

Babe😘 (Matt): Thank gosh you're okay.

Taylor🙈: We were worried that something happened.

Me: Yeah I'm okay.

After a few more texts I decided that I was going to rest for a little bit to waste some time. A few minutes?... yeah no.

Hey guys. This is late but I don't even know if people want to read it so yeah. It's past 1 am here currently and in at my friends house and one of them already fell asleep. I really wanted this done earlier but I didn't have enough time with school and stuff so I'm sorry. If this doesn't sound right that's because it's past midnight and I have gotten barley any sleep this whole week so yeah I'm gonna go and do that. Byyyeeee👋🏻
