JJ'S POV:

It's been two days from the game, making it now Tuesday. Also Cal's birthday.

Simon has been ignoring me since the game. I mean it wasn't like I cared that much, but we're team members. That's totally it...we're just teammates.

He was at his locker again, leaning against it aimlessly, not even taking anything out of it. I didn't know why he wasn't in class, the bell had rang five minutes ago. I hid behind the corner, watching him.

After a moment he turns to go walk away, he seemed to have a slight limp on his left foot, he lifts his leg, trying to shake it out.

I caught a glimpse of his face as I watched from around the corner, he was grimacing in pain. The second he noticed me around the corner, he act like he was itching his leg, then stood up, walking completely normally.

Something took over me, I wasn't sure what is was, but I felt a surge of anger.

I stomped up to him, slamming his thin figure against the lockers, harder than I meant too. He let out a wince in pain, gritting his teeth.

Simon's blue eyes just watched me expectantly, waiting for me to do something, "What the fuck happened at the game!"

My eyes were filled with fire and anger, why was he acting so strange towards me.

He mumbled something inaudible, being to scared to speak. I yanked on his chain that was under his neck, making his eyes widened and his lips agape. I let go of the chain, knowing that I shouldn't of done that.

"I said...it was wrong..." he whispered with fear laced all in his voice.

"What was wrong!?" My eyes were more gentle, and he seemed to pick up on it.

"P-Pun-Punching him." I raised my arm, to lean it against the wall, but he completely tensed and closed his eyes, getting ready for the impact.

I placed my hand against the wall, and he squinted his eyes open, seeing I did so. "He deserved it...but I'm sorry."

The look of shock was wrote all over his face. He was right, I shouldn't of punched him, but he sure as hell deserved it. And if I could go back, I would do it again and again.

"That was a banger of a pent you had." I leg go of him, not pushing him against the wall. He regains his balance.

"T-Thanks...I need to head to class..." As he was about to leave I grabbed his arm, causing him to wince slightly. I barely even had it in my grip.

"A-Are-..." I wanted to ask him if he was okay, if he needed help, but instead I said, "Are we good?" He nods, and I let him walk away.

Cal's POV

I felt my heart pound as I searched around the lunchroom for Simon.

When I saw him come in, immediately I stood up, looking at the others, "I'll be right back." And before I could say anything, I was already off.

I approached Simon and looked up at him, before I could say a thing he says, "H-Happy birthday..."

He actually knew my birthday? He cared enough to know. Before I knew it my entire face was bright red. I pulled my hoodie over my face.

He gave me a confused look, making me realize I never replied, "T-Thanks!"

Staring at Simon, he was just so hot. I came out as gay to Callux, who was so supportive of me, but I've been to scared to tell anyone. I also told him how I was totally crushing on Simon, he said I should just go for it...
