Simon's POV
I woke up to the sound of my alarm clock, groaning I rolled over and turned it off.
I let out a cry of pain as I moved my foot, it was still bothering me so much.
I sat up, turning on my lamp when all of yesterday's memories came rushing in.
"Cal..." I mumbled, grabbing my phone. A message from Cal was there.
Cal: I'm so sorry for what I did yesterday. I hope we can still be mates, but if not I understand
A wave of guilt came crashing in as I read his text. Of course we could still be mates, him kissing me didn't change that.
The problem was...I didn't mind the kiss...I didn't mind it with a guy. How does that make sense? I'm straight, I'm not into guys, am I?
I swung my legs around to the floor, slowly putting pressure on my left foot. Grabbing the stand, I could finally get myself to my feet.
Exploding pain came from my left foot, even traveling up my leg.
Glancing down at my foot, I could still see how swollen it was, it was a complete mess, just like me.
I threw on a jumper, sweats and some shoes, then headed down the stairs. My mum and dad were the only ones home.
I missed having my brothers home, they were both off to uni. Hopefully they would come visit soon.
"Feeling better?" My mum questioned. My dad completely ignored that I was there, continuing to cook breakfast.
"Yes mum..." I mumbled, sitting down at the table. She laid a plate of pancakes in front of me. I twirled it around with my fork, but after yesterday I lost all of my appetite.
"Not hungry?" She whispered. I shook my head and pushed my plate away, suddenly feeling uncomfortable.
"I'm gonna head to school." I whispered as I got up, grabbing my bag and heading off.
The second I got into the driveway I grimaced, feeling the pain from my foot, I hobbled into my car, turning on the radio.
I went to start it, but the car wouldn't work. "What the fuck." I mumbled as I tried again, nothing.
Finally after the third time it worked, and I pulled out of the driveway and into the school.
I got there twenty minutes early, so I decided to wait outside.
I sat under the trees, feeling the warmth of the sun for probably the last time with the snow storm was coming in shortly. We probably were going to have a half day with the weather. Snow was already starting to fall on the ground.
I closed my eyes, resting against the tree branch.
"P-Please just leave me alone!" I heard a familiar cry. When I opened my eyes, I saw Vikk being pinned against the side of the building, by boys I had never seen before.
Three of them to be exact. The first boy was the shortest, having spiked hair and wearing all black.
The second boy was also wearing all black, and had piercings all up and down his face.
The third was the guy pinning Vik up. He was also in all black, wearing chains and having piercings as well. His lips sneered as he held the boy above the ground. Even from a distances, I could see the muscles popping out of his shirt.
For some reason, I stood up, and started walking quickly over. He pulled his arm back as Vik closed his eyes, "HEY! Leave him a-alone...!"
This caused him to drop Vik, allowing him to get up and scurry away, he ran off, but I saw him glancing back.
