"What do you want?" Jack smiled wickedly.

"Do you know what day it is?" I looked at him confused.

"No..." His smile widened.

"It's almost your birthday. You'll be what...16? You pledged this world for 16 years with your filth. I can't believe you survived that attack. One of my best and you survived! I don't know how but I will make you suffer this injustice towards me."

"What?" I tried to sit up but something held me down.

"Now now, I wouldn't do that. You've been heavily medicated and as an extra precaution," he gestured to my arms, thick straps wrapped around both my wrist.

"I...what do you want?" His smile turned into a scowl.

"Why in the hell are you repeating the same thing?"

"What do you want?" He jumped up from the chair he was sitting in.

"Are you stupid!" He threw back his arm.

Flenching at his movement, I knew the hit was coming but it never did. I looked up to see a very large man in black holding Jack's arm. The drugs kept me from being coherent but I saw him. He blended so well into the darkness that I would never have seen him if he hadn't moved. I remember his hair the most from my blurring memory that day. It was bright and glistening golden in the darkened room. The stranger looked down at me, his blue eyes locked on me and his grip on Jack tightened.

"What are you doing Dues?"

"Dues?" Jack looked at me with such disgust.

"How dare you! You should be dead with the number of drugs in your system." This was Dues, this is who Marcus was trying to tell me about.

"Dues." His grip on Jack's arm tightened even more.

"God damn it! You're going to break my arm."

He through Jack's arm back at him and walked over to me. I sunk back in fear of this stranger. Noticing this his eyes softened at my reaction. Dues looked down at my wrist and back up at me. I nodded my head knowing what he wanted. He took off the restrengthens fast and genital, thin wrapped me up in his muscular arms. I grabbed on tight to his neck, never wanting to let go.

"I got you."

"I remember that voice."

"I'm sorry, I tried to warn you."

"I know."

I started baling in the stranger's arms. I knew nothing of this man but of the information that Marcus gave me and for some reason, I was willing to break down in front of him.

"You can't leave." I could feel Dues smirk at Jack. "Close your eyes." I did as Dues asked.

I waited for something to happen but all I felt was air gliding gently through my hair then it stilled. I fell asleep in his arms before he could get me home. When I woke up it was early morning and I was in my room. I looked at my phone, it was October 30th, tomorrow is my birthday. I rolled around on my bed and went back to sleep. The drugs were still in my system so I was still pretty out of it when I woke up the second time Sebastian was standing over me with red eyes from crying.

"How did you get here?" I looked up at him sleepy and confused.

"I live here."

"I know that it's just...your supposed to be dead."

"Where did you hear that from?"

"Mom told me."

"Well, I'm alive and very tired."
