I felt someone kiss my cheek as I slowly opened my eyes. I looked at Nate and smiled before running my hand through his hair. He pressed his lips against mine making another smile spread across my face. "Good morning cupcake." He said as he pulled me closer to him. "Remember tonight I'm taking you somewhere."
"How could I forget that?" I asked while giggling. Nate smiled before pressing his lips against mine. "Let's go get some breakfast."
"Can't I just have you for breakfast?" Nate asked while giving me a smirk and puppy dog eyes. I rolled my eyes playfully and smacked his arm. "What? It would be better then anything else!" I giggle before sitting up and pulling myself out of bed. I grabbed my brush, quickly running it through my hair. Nate stood up and stretched, flexing his muscles. He walked over to me and wrapped me in a huge hug.
"So where are you taking me tonight?" I questioned while raising my eyebrow at him.
"That's for me to know and you to find out." He said while smirking. I giggled, walking downstairs with him to get some breakfast.

"So where do you think he's gonna take you?" Emma asked as I was finishing up my makeup. I turned to face her and shrugged. "So, I uh, did something bad... maybe?" I motioned for her to go on. "So, after you and Nate went to bed, Tyler and I were watching a movie and did some kissing."
"Emma!" I exclaimed while giggling. She blushed nervously. "Just be careful with him, as much as I love him, he is a player. But who knows maybe he'll change his ways."
"Hopefully." Emma said while laughing. There was a knock on my bedroom door so I stood up and opened it. I looked at a very handsome Nate. He had roses in his hand and had a smile plastered across his lips.
"You look amazing." He said as he handed me the flowers, "these are for you." I took them and smiled up at him. "We have to go now because we have to be at the spot I'm taking you at a specific time."
"Okay." I said while following him downstairs.

"Okay we're here, but we have to do a little walking." Nate said as we both got out of the car. He came to my side and intertwined his fingers with mine. I laid my head on his arm as we walked in the direction that he was taking me. "Okay we're almost there, close your eyes." I did as he said and I shut my eyes. "Okay open them cupcake."
I slowly opened my eyes and I took in the site in front of me. There was a candle lit picnic with fairy lights hanging from the trees. I stood there speechless as my eyes started to tear up. I turned to Nate, my eyes glassy and smiled. "Nate..." I started as I walked over to him, "this is gorgeous." He smiled, while leaning down to peck my lips.
We sat down on the blanket as he pulled chocolate strawberries out of the picnic basket. He picked up one and fed it to me making me giggle. We continued to eat and just talk about random things. Nate pulled a little white box, that looked like it held a ring, out of his pocket. He then looked me in the eyes. "I remember the first day we met. First grade, I went over to your house and when I got inside I saw you playing with Emma. You had your hair in a ponytail and had had a pink shirt on." Nate said while smiling, "I remembered thinking that you were cute."
"Tyler and I became best friends and I hung out at your house pretty much everyday. I got to know you and started to like you." Nate cheeks started to get a little pink, "and I obviously didn't know how to express my feelings, so that's why I started to prank you."
"Yeah you definitely handled that wrong." I said while giggling.
Nate nodded his head while smiling. "But as I got older I understood how to express my feelings. I'm in love with you. I've been in love with you since we were kids." He opened the box and my guess was correct, there was a beautiful ring. "Will you be my girlfriend?"
A giant smile spread across my lips as I looked into his eyes. "Yes!" I said happily, leaning over and pressing my lips against his. He took the ring out of the box and put it on my right ring finger.
"We'll save the left one for a day that's gonna be more special." He gave me a gorgeous smile. I giggled before he placed another kiss on my lips. He moved closer to me and wrapped his arms around me, "I love you Natalie."
"I love you too."
