Emma and I were out getting our nails done and just hanging out. It had been a week since I found out about Nate killing Raul and it just kept eating away at me, because it was my fault. "Natalie," Emma said pulling me from my thoughts. "You okay? You seem really out of it and distant lately."

"I just found something crazy out," I said quietly. "I just can't talk about it, ever." I shut my eyes and heard Emma sigh beside me.

"Natalie just tell me. It'll get it off your chest and you won't be as stressed!" She exclaimed as I shook my head no. "We all miss you at the house. Please move back."

"I can't. Not with Nate there," I said. "It's too complicated between us right now. I just need time to myself and he needs time to himself. It'll be better in the long run."

"I guess..." She said unsure. "I just don't want anything to happen to you. It makes me nervous to know you're by yourself in that house, without any protection from Lucas." I looked over at her and gave her a small smile.

"Em, I'll be fine. I have some protection and I can handle myself. I did last time," I said as she nodded. "I'm just so sick of all of this. I wish we never got dragged into this by them."

"Me too," she said beside me. After that we were silent for the rest of the appointment. We were now in the car and she was driving me back home. She pulled into my driveway and turned her car off. "Just promise me, if anything happens you'll move back in."

"I promise," I said as she smiled. We hugged and I left the car. I approached the door and grabbed my keys from my purse, unlocking the doors and stepping inside. Chills ran down my body for some reason as the door shut behind me. I walked into the kitchen and stopped dead when I saw a candlelit dinner sitting at the table.

I grabbed my phone from my purse and started to dial Tyler's number when a gun touched the side of my head. "Hand me the phone." I did as I was told before being grabbed roughly and placed down at the table. Lucas was standing in front of me, pointing a gun at me and smirking. "You really think you could disrespect me like that? Point a gun at me and get away with it?"

"So what are you going to do? Kill me? Then do it." I said between gritted teeth. "No one is stopping you, so go ahead — shoot me."

"Where's the fun in that?" He asked while showing off a toothy grin. "I'm not a psychopath. I would get something from Nate before killing you and then eventually killing him."

"Me and Nate broke up, he's not going to give you anything." I stated while looking down at the food. "So have fun coming up with some other plan." My eyes scanned the kitchen for a weapon within reach, but the only thing was a plate or the candle.

"Oh trust me, he will no matter what." Lucas said as he pulled him phone out of his pocket. I stood up and watched as the gun followed my every move. I walked over to him and stopped when I was in front of him.

"Put the gun down." I said quietly as I bit down on my lip seductively. This was the only thing I could think of, I was scared and didn't want to get shot. So maybe seducing him would save me for now?

"Nice try," he said will smirking and grabbing my butt. Without thinking I punched him really hard. I grabbed the gun from his hand and pointed it at him again. I grabbed my phone and called Nate to come over ASAP. "You're too scared to hurt someone. You're not a gangster. You don't have the guts."

"I actually wouldn't feel a bit of remorse for killing you." I said through gritted teeth. "At this point it's just self defense. I let you live last time, you shouldn't have come back."

"Then show me and kill me." He yelled while standing up and walking at me. My heart started to beat up and he reached for the gun. I pulled the trigger and watched him fall back, grabbing his arm. "You little bitch." He again started to come towards me. I pulled the trigger once again and watch him fall to the ground.

"You should've excepted that second chance last time." I said as he started to bleed out. "There's no third." I bent down and shut his eyes as he started to slowly die.

"There's more coming for you. I'm n-not the only one who w-wants to get Nate." Lucas stuttered out his last words as the front door opened. I pointed the gun towards the doorway of the kitchen as Tyler, Nate and a few other guys walked in.

"Natalie," Nate said slowly. His eyes taking in what I had done. "You killed Lucas?!"

I walked over and gently kissed his cheek. "Yes, now take care of the body. He's your mess." I handed him the gun and walked away, going to my room.

"Natalie," I heard Tyler said from behind me. "Are you okay? I know what it's like to kill someone and it's going to be a roller coaster of emotions."

"You've kill someone?" I asked quietly as he nodded. "God, we're a family of murderers."

He chuckled softly, "it's what we have to do to survive." I nodded as he pulled me into a hug. "Don't feel badly for killing him, he would've never left you alone. It would've been you or him."

"I don't feel badly. He put a gun up to my head one to many times." I stated, "I left him live last time. He should've never came back. That's why he's dead on the kitchen floor, he crossed me."

"Yeah. You should come back to the house just for tonight." Tyler said as I nodded slightly. "Pack a small bag and meet me downstairs." He left my room and I did as he told, then went downstairs. I went towards the kitchen and saw that Lucas's body was gone and the guys were cleaning up the blood with bleach.

Nate grabbed my hand and dragged me into the living room. "For me cleaning him up, you have to give me head." He said while smirking.

"What? No." I stated, "you made him come for me! He wouldn't be dead if we never dated. So he's your mess." He leaned down and gently pressed his lips against mine.

"Cupcake," he said making my heart skip a beat. He hadn't called me cupcake in a long time and I missed it. "I'm stressed and I need you to relax me."

"Nope."
