Chapter Thirteen

I woke up to the horrendous sound of my alarm clock blaring in my ears. I groaned before hitting the off-button and pulling myself out of bed. With a yawn escaping my lips I did my hair and makeup before quickly getting changed. I grabbed the ring that Nate had given me and slipped it on my finger. I grabbed my phone and slipped it into my back pocket of my jeans and then I walked downstairs.

I saw Tyler sitting on the couch on his phone. "Good morning." I called over to him before I walked into the kitchen to get some breakfast for myself. After contemplating on either an apple or a bowl of cereal, I decided on an apple. I grabbed it and sat down at the table. 

Just as I finished eating there was a honk from outside. Emma must've just gotten here. I stood up and grabbed my backpack, then walked outside to see Nate's car in the driveway. I walked over and then opened the passenger seat door. "Are you picking up Tyler?" I asked as I looked at the blue-eyed beauty. 

"Nope." Nate said well popping the p. "I'm actually here for you. I had to do a little arguing with Emma to be able to drive you to school." I giggled as I got into the car. Nate leaned over and pressed his lips against mine, "Good morning cupcake."

"Good morning Nathan." I said well smiling. He chuckled at me calling him by his full name before he pulled out of the driveway and drove down the street towards the high school, aka the hell hole that we all know it by. Nate had one hand on the steering wheel and the other one was rest on my thigh. 

I smiled and placed my hand on top of Nate's. He flipped his hand over so we were now holding hands, which made my smile grow. "I see you're wearing the ring." Nate said well I turned to look at him. He had the cutest smile on his face.

"Of course I am." I said, "I mean my boyfriend did get it for me." Nate's smile grew as I said boyfriend. He pulled into a parking spot before he got out of the car and jogged over to my side to open the door for me. "Thank you." I said as I giggled. 

"No problemo cupcake." Nate said as he leaned down and pressed his lips against mine. He then grabbed my hand into his and we walked into school. As soon as we entered those doors all eyes were locked on Nate and I. We walked to my locker which I quickly opened and grabbed my binder out of it.

 I saw Emma talking to Tommy at his locker, he turned his head and his eyes locked with mine. I smiled at him and watched as he started walking over to me. Once he was in front of me he leaned down and pressed his lips against mine. "Get the fuck off of her!" Nate yelled as he pulled Tommy away from me and then threw a punch at him.

Tommy punched him back but then was hit by two more punches by Nate. A group of people were starting to surround them. Emma looked at me and her eyes were wide. 'Do something.' She mouthed to me from the other side of the fight. Just as Emma had said two guy gym teachers pulled Nate and Tommy off of each other. "Everyone get to class!" Mr. L yelled which made everyone scram, including Emma and I. 

I sat down at my seat in and sighed as the bell rung. I can't believe Nate and Tommy just got into a fight...

School was finally over and Emma and I were walking to her car. "Cupcake!" I turned around and looked at Nate. "I have detention, so I'll see you later at your house. I wanna bring you and Emma somewhere, with Tyler and I."

"Okay." I said as Nate leaned down and pecked my lips. "I'll see you later." Nate nodded his head before he started to walk to the ISS room. Emma and I left the building and walked over to her car in silence. "Why did Tommy and Nate have to get into a fight? I mean that was just ridiculous."

"They were fighting over you. So it wasn't ridiculous to them..." Emma said as she unlocked her car. We both got in and I sighed. "Tyler asked me to go on a date with him on Friday... but I wanted to see if you were okay with that before I answered him." I looked over at Emma who was already looking at me. She looked really nervous.

"That's completely fine with me." I said as relief washed over Emma. "If you like him I'm not gonna stand in the way of that!" 

"Well thank you." Emma said with a big smile on her face. "I've always have kinda had a crush on him, but I didn't think that he liked me back." 

I turned my head so I was looking at Emma, "I knew that he liked you." I said, "I always caught him checking you out." Emma's cheeks turned rosy and she smiled. "But I mean I also did catch you checking him out too." Emma laughed as she pulled into my driveway. We both got out of the car and walked inside the house. "Wanna watch The Office?" 

"Obviously." Emma said as we both plopped down on the couch. I went onto Netflix and then put The Office on. 

We had been watching for about 25 minutes when there was a loud knock on the door. "That's a vicious knock." Emma said well we both laughed. I stood up and walked over to the door, I opened it and look at three unfamiliar guys. They one in the middle scanned me up at down before he met my eyes. 

"Is Tyler home?" The one who scanned me asked. 

"No he's still at school. Who are you guys?" I asked well I raised an eyebrow. 

"I'm Liam, he's Nick and that's Robbie." He said as he moved closer to me. "You must be Natalie." I cautiously nodded my head as I moved away from him. "Nate talks about you a lot." A small smile spread across my lips. "We have to go, but just tell Tyler we stopped by."

"Okay." I said as I closed the door. I wonder if those guys are apart of the gang.
