Chapter 41

Jackson, Jaebum and Nayeon ran through the lobby of the hotel as they made their way towards the room. The entire hotel had been secured. They had arrested everyone involved in the betting. EunBi's information had helped them so much.

After torturing the man who was conducting the bidding, he finally gave in a told them where Yura or Y/N was.

They stopped in front of the room.

Jackson curled his fist and made a signal and all of them loaded their guns, in position. He attached a little device on the door and stepped back. The lock burst and in a moment the door opened as they all ran in.

Chaos. That was the word to describe the room.

Jackson scooted closer to the bed as he saw a dead body. There was no sign of Y/N anywhere.

"This must be Sejun, the man who bought Y/N", he said observing the dead body who had been shot.

"Where did Y/N go then?"

"Baekhyun", Jaebum said in the ear piece. "Did you find the footage?"

"I did", came the reply. "Sending it to you on secure line 917"

Jaebum immediately opened his phone, putting it forward for everyone to see.

The trio observed as two men brought a subconscious Y/N into the room. Sejun was already sitting on the couch sipping wine. The actual part of the footage started with him attacking Y/N. Jaebum looked away as he heard the screams and pleads for him to stop. Tears welled up in his eyes. He knew what had happened to her when she was 15. He was one of the senior trainees who was graduating and hence had been taken on the field along with the fellow officers who went to rescue Y/N.

"Jaebum you might want to see this"

He turned around as he saw the door blast open. The angle of the camera was such that he couldn't see the face of the person but he knew it was someone from the Mafia. They came in and shot Sejun before picking Y/N up and leaving.

"They rescued Y/N? Why would they do that?", Nayeon asked surprised. "After all she was just a hostage. Why would any of the Bangtan members risk their lives to get her?"

The boys pondered, she was right. "We can think about this later, let us first search the room"

They got into work, picking up evidences and whatever they could collect.

"Sir, you might want to see this". Nayeon was holding a card. Jaebum took it as he observed.

"Senator Jung HaeJin". It was his business card.

"Bangtan must know HaeJin. He was prosecuted last year for possession of Cocaine. Maybe they are the ones who supplied it to him? Also, he was left out of charges after he paid off the judge. They are connected somehow", Jackson spoke.

"If they are connected, then he would surely invite them to the inaugural party of his term as a local member of the parliament one month from now. Maybe we could find Y/N there", Jaebum said.

Jackson smirked. "Then let's get ourselves an invitation to the party shall we?"

1 month later

I opened my eyes to see Yoongi sleeping peacefully beside me and a smile formed on his face. It was the 14th today, we had completed one month of dating.

"Morning", I said as he opened his eyes.

"Morning", he replied before pulling me closer and nuzzling his face in my neck.
