"Officer Y/N, it is time for your hearing"

I looked up to see a female guard looking at me. I nodded and stood up and she put me in cuffs before taking me out of the room.

We entered a huge hall with numerous people sitting. Jaebum, Baekhyun, Jackson, Jinyoung, Nayeon, Jihyo and Tzuyu all sat there in the audience.

The panel entered and I looked to see the three men and 2 women.

"Officer Y/N", the man in the middle began. "You have been charged with negligence and unprofessional conduct which led to the death of a prospective criminal leading to information loss for the agency. Along with that you have also been charged for misconduct which led to six other members of the Mafia escaping the country. Do you Kang Y/N accept these charges against you?"

"I do"

"As per the manual, we will be now stripping you of your rank as a Senior Field agent at the Bureau of Crime. Your services shall no longer be required at the Bureau and hence forth you shall no longer be carrying the title of an agent. Considering your past contributions, we will pardon you of any criminal proceedings. The award for bravery which has been bestowed to you shall also be taken back"

With that a man came in front of me as they put a tray forward. I removed my officer badge and the stars on my uniform as I placed it on the tray. A tear rolled down my eyes as I saw them take it away.

"You are now excused from this hearing. Hence forth your entry into the BOC is restricted. You will no longer contact other agents or speak about the BOC's past activities to any outsider. You are dismissed"

I watched as the guard came to open my cuffs and I was released from the office. My eyes met with Jaebum who looked at me with Sympathy while Baekhyun beside him cried.

I walked over to them.

"I am sorry Jaebum, I disappointed you. Thank you for all the time you spent guiding me. I might have always annoyed you but I want you to know how much respect you have in my eyes. Take care of yourself". Tears rolled down my eyes and even he started to cry.

"I am sorry Y/N, there was nothing I could do. You have and will always be my best agent. And don't ever blame yourself for what happened", he said.

I nodded and gave him a hug.

"Baekhyun-ah, Don't cry", I said to the younger one as I pat his back.

"I am sorry Y/N, my one small mistake and it led to so much. It is all my fault, you shouldn't be the one - I should be the one getting dismissed"

"You will not say that Baek. I don't want you ever blaming yourself. Now, I don't have the heart to meet Chanyeol. So can you please tell him I am sorry and that I will come meet him as soon as I can?"

"No Y/N, it will break him"

"He is strong. I just want you to take care of him for me. And don't worry, I will come around soon after things settle down a bit"

"Okay"

"I am sorry Baek, I hope you find a great partner who you can work together with"

"Why you sad?", he asked.

"I don't know, Nam molla", I said before hugging him tightly as tears rolled down my eyes.

With that I walked out of the building, letting the sun soak my face. I put a hand over my stomach as more tears rolled down my eyes.

"Now it's just you and me baby"

5 months later

I never told anyone I was pregnant. For my own and my child's safety no one knew. It had been 5 months since I moved away from Korea to Bangkok . In my last conversation with Jaebum, I had requested him to do me a favor and help me leave this country. Since my trial attracted a lot of attention, it had become practically impossible for me to live in that country. People blamed me for the escape of some of the most wanted criminals in the country. The media had butchered my image and people in the government and BOC, including my fellow agents hated me with all their heart. So, it was only practical I left the country and make a fresh start somewhere.

More than that it made it less painful for me. Knowing that I was away from Korea, It was easier to recover from Yoongi's absence and the devastating memories of what had happened back there.

I started off by working in a Korean restaurant which was run by an elderly Korean couple and then as an instructor - teaching children Taekwando at a local academy. It did not pay luxurious but it paid well for me to get my electricity, bills, transport and doctor's appointment done and still save a little. The couple was gracious enough to let me rent a room in one of the houses in their duplex.

After the fourth month, the doctor advised me against working at the Taekwando academy so I took a break, working double shifts at the restaurant instead.

I hadn't contacted anyone. Not even Baek and Yeol. I did not want them to worry about me so I just left one last letter to them telling them I was moving out of Seoul.

I had to change my identity too. I no longer identified as Kang Y/N. I still had one of the fake passports that I used during a mission and hence I changed it to Park Sohee. I had in my life made a lot of enemies and knowing that I had no support from the Bureau, I couldn't take the risk of letting my identity out.

I walked through the market, grabbing fresh produce and groceries for my house. I had to stop at a pharmacy and take medicines too. Pregnancy was hard especially when you were alone. I threw up almost every morning, every little distinct smell made me want to puke. My bladder had a brain of its own and sometimes when I had no access to a restroom, I almost had a mental breakdown. Sometimes when I couldn't converse with people and explain something due to language barriers, I felt like crying my eyes out at how tough things were.

I picked up the bags as I walked towards home. I saved a lot of money by walking to places and also finding seats in public transports was difficult. Also when you have a belly as big as mine, scooting into small places in buses wasn't exactly comfortable.

"Sohee"

I turned back to see a young boy, no more than 13 run to me.

"Sah wah dee kha Phicit", I greeted the young boy. He was the son of one of our neighbors. In my few months of staying here, he was the only one who I interacted with. Since I didn't speak Thai and he needed a language partner for English, we usually conversed in that.

"Hi, let me take these for you", he said taking the bags from my hand.

"Thank you that is very kind of you", I said ruffling his hair. "How was school?"

"School is great, I just became Head boy for my year"

"That's amazing, so can I expect a little party"

"We can have a big party Sohee, once the baby comes"

"That is a lovely plan"

We turned to the corner of my house and my eyes fell on the window, slightly open. I stopped in my tracks and so did Phicit.

"Phi, I can take the bags from here. Why don't you go home. Now it is going to get dark so I want you to go straight home, no where else"

"Ye..yes", he said noticing how my voice had suddenly grown so serious.

I watched him safely run towards his house after which I headed to my own. I put the bags outside before taking my keys and opening the door quietly.

On my way inside, I slid a tile by the door, revealing a secret compartment as I removed a knife and headed in.

The house was the same but I could see faint shoe marks on the carpet. I put the knife in an attack position as silently as I could, making my way into the kitchen which was empty.

When I came out, I thought I heard something but there was no one there. Seeing the entire ground floor empty, I decided to check upstairs when a voice stopped me.

"Missed me Kitten?"
