He wore stylish glasses and a blazer with emojis on them. He also had dark chocolate skin that was simply beautiful too look at.
"Your Highness," he stated from across the room, bowing. I shook my head, beaming.
"I'm not big on bowing. Actually, would you mind going in and telling the rest of the guys that? Sorry!" I hated asking favors early but come on. Bowing? No.
He scratched the side of his face, adorably grinning, his dimples sinking in. I loved dimples! "Alright, I'll uh-I'll be back." He came back in the door after a minute or so. "Sorry that took so long. They had some questions for me."
I giggled. "What were they?"
"You probably get this a lot." He bashfully looked down at his dress shoes. "They wanted to know if you looked as beautiful as you do on TV."
I had to tease him, he was so adorable. "So you think I'm beautiful, huh?"
He finally looked me directly in my eyes, his soft brown eyes inviting me in. "Of course."
"Thank you," I mumbled, now avoiding his gave. "Well, I should probably move onto the next person. Thank you so much for talking to me, you are awesome."
He began walking to the next door before stopping. "I just realized I didn't tell you my name."
"I knew we were forgetting something!" I jokingly lamented.
"It's Adim."
"That's a great name!" I oozed.
"Thank you." With that, Adim and I parted. The next couple of guys weren't as attention grabbing for me but the guy that followed certainly was.
He was breathtakingly handsome, in a simple tux that was probably not doing him justice. I mean, I didn't want to look at my potentially future partner like meat but he was juicy.
"Hi, Kerttu! My name is Shaan." His dazzling smile twinkled like the chandelier light above us. He shook my hand, his confidence coming through. "I was told not to bow. I was also told from the tabloids that you like mischief. I wonder what crimes we can stir up together."
His rectangular jawline protruded and I couldn't help but blush a little at his words. "I'm afraid you might take my trouble making a little too far."
"We'll see about that." He winked and then left the room. No one had left before I dismissed them. I would definitely keep Shaan in mind.
A couple more boys introduced themselves to me before another notable one came in. He had white blond hair, green eyes, and a wide face.
"Your Highness. My name is Tyrion Paul," he said with a bow.
"Did you not get the memo?"
"I did," he stated. "But I believe all women, royalty or not, should be addressed as queens." His statement rang through my core.
"Well, everyone should be addressed like queens and kings and whatever in between."
He nodded, his independent air never leaving him. "I'll think on that. So how was your day?"
"Pretty good! I'm getting a little nervous though," I whispered.
"Why?" Tyrion implored. He genuinely seemed shocked.
"A lot of boys. A lot of decisions coming up," I said truthfully.
"I don't want to break anyone's heart," I whined.
"You won't. You will make all of your decisions with derision and precision and they will be the right choice. You can do this," he soothed.
"I have no idea why you have so much faith in me but thank you, Tyrion. Am I saying that right? I don't want to start our relationship off without me saying your name properly, I feel like you'll never let it go."
He chuckled for a second, cutting the sound off. "You are saying it more right than most. Goodbye, my queen." With another bow, he left.
After Tyrion, there was his polar opposite named Jakob. Jakob was light hearted, constantly cracking jokes, smiling. Another, Park, was so nervous he had to wipe his hands on a handkerchief. I tried my best to calm him but he wouldn't relax. A few other standouts were Tyler, Berry, Chaarli, and Yousef.
I had met my suitor. They all seemed like wonderful individuals but some didn't have the chemistry I was looking for. I was looking for passion, love, fun, and energy. I was looking for the one. Just like my parents, just like my grandparents, and everyone before them. I was utterly determined to do so.
**Who are you rooting for? Adim, Shaan, Tyrion Paul (he's the only one who gets a last name rn lol), Jakob, Park, Tyler, Berry, Chaarli, or Yousef? Some boys weren't really introduced**
**Who do you think will get the first date?**
**Thank you so much for reading and please vote and comment! Have a Kerttu day and always question, never settle!!**
