After defeating Siva, David became a new legend. But he never felt like he belonged anywhere he went. That's because he was... different, compared to everyone else. But when...
It'sbeen a few hours since we last seen David and his Ghost. Since then, David has been walking, searching for anything to help them find a way back home or some sort of help as Ghost has been trying to get their ship and sparrow.
Currently, we see David out of his armor with The Burning Eye armed just in case as Ghost was hovering next to him.

David: Ghost, how long have I been walking?
Ghost: About 3 and a half hours, why?
David: 'Cause my feet are getting tired and I want to rest.
Ghost: Well you can rest in a little bit. I've just picked up something close by. Could be a city.
David: Alright. Fine. Better hope so. Which way?
Ghost: Just keep walking forward for another mile.
David: Okay. But, in the meantime, music?
Ghost: Alright. Anything in particular?
David: No. Anything's fine.
Ghost doesn't answer. He takes a moment to pick out a song and plays it through himself.
With that, the two kept walking to the direction that ghost said as they listened to music.
Time skip
We see David walking through Vale alone as Ghost went back into his head a while ago, as he looks around in awe.
David: How is there anything left after the Collapse? I thought everything was destroyed.
Ghost: I guess not. Maybe they have some sort of special defense system or something.
David: Weird...
But his thoughts were interrupted when they heard gunshots a distance away.
Ghost: Are they under attack?!
David: Don't know, but let's find out! Ghost-
Ghost: On it!
David's body glows for a second before we see a set of armor over him.
