The thing that kills most people in a zombie apocalispe is being unaware. As I stood watching the men who kidnapped my sister, I failed to notice the sixth man. Then, by the time I did, it was too late. His hands came down on the back of my head. One second I was looking at the men and the next was all black.

-------------

I slowly opened my eyes only to see Jessa looking at me with a smile on her face. "Wakey, Wakey, eggs and bakey!" She cheered. I sat up.

"Jessa? What happened? Where did they take you? Where did they take me?" I started to bombard her with questions.

"I don't know!" She giggled.

I sighed. That's when I noticed what was around me. I was in a grass feild with yellow floweres blooming all around me. I was also sitting on a red and white checkered blanket. On the blanket was a picnic I immidiatly started to panic. we were in a field. Out in the open, and no weapons. Were these people using us as bait? I started to freak out, on the verge of tears. I grabbed Jessa's arm and started to drag her. "I don't know what's going on, but we have to get out of here!" I whispered sternly at her.

What I saw next made me fall to my knees. "Mom? Dad?" Tears poured from my eyes. I let go of Jessa's arm. She ran and jumped into my parents arms and laughed. They all laughed together. It was the most beautiful sound I could ever hear. It was more beautiful than wedding bells ringing for a newly wed. It was better than the sound of the music. I forgot my worries and jumped into my parents arms laughing tears of joy too. "We missed you! Now lets eat!" They both told me. We ate from the picnic basket and played softball with our shoes as the bases, like we use to do every Sunday before the world ended. At one point, we laid down with our heads touching in a circle. We were looking at the puffy, white clouds and seeing what animals they looked like. "That one looks like an elephant!" I called out and pointed. Everyone nodded their heads in approval. "That one is a monkey doing the hoo-la-hoop!" Jessa called out. Jessa started laughing as if it was the funniest joke and all the other noises faded out. I closed my eyes and could still hear Jessa's laugh.

-----------

I again opened my eyes to a dark room. What the? How many times am I going to wake up? I was beginning to wonder which was the dream, when suddenly my stomach growled loudly. I knew that this was the real world. That my parents sacrificed themselves for me and that my sister was still missing.H However, the smiling faces of my family popped back up in my mind. It had all been a dream. Tears spilled out of my eyes. That was the most beautiful dream that I've ever had. I heard Jessa's laugh again. More tears spilled out of my eyes. I could still hear her little laugh from my dreams. I bolted upright. Still hear her laugh? It was her laugh! "Jessa!" I yelled out.

I heard some whispering about 'suppose to be quiet', and then I couldn't hear her anymore. "Jessa!" I called out more frantically. I was begginning to see red. How dare they take my sister away from me and then keep her hidden away from me. I began to check for my weapons. All of them were gone.

I appeared to be in a dressing room. Wow, I was trapped in a dressing room at Walmart. Never in a million years did I think that that would ever happen to me. The door was barricaded. "I don't even care anymore!" I said outloud. I rammed myself into the door. The cheap wood cracked. I rammed into the door again and again. I heard someone shout something about the prisoner escaping, but I didn't care. The door was one more hit away from breaking down. Wham! I all broke and I moved the heavy items that were blocking the door. There was two man waiting for me on the other side. They pointed their guns at me. "Get on the ground!" One screamed at me. The other one looked franctically looked at the other man and then back at me. "Is she a zombie?" He said loud enough to be overheard. Then I understood why they were so freaked out. They thought I was going to turn. I looked at them with so much hate that I was suprised they didn't catch fire and burn. "Do. I. Look. Like. A. Zombie. To. You?" I spat each word. I could tell they relaxed by the fact that they let their shoulders slump. They were underestimating me, they were letting their guard down. "Why did you break that?" The man who screamed at me first asked me with his gun still raised.

"Oh, you mean the place you were keeping me trapped and away from my little sister? My sister who I know is here?" I sarcastically stated. I noticed that these were not one of the 6 men from yesterday, even though I didn't know what the sixth man looked like. I could tell that neither of these men seemed capable of doing the deed.

The moment that I stated that I knew my sister was here, the jumpy man reacted. It was a small reaction, but it told me everything that I needed to know. That it wasn't just my dream. It was really her laugh. "Oh." was all the man said back. I rolled my eyes. "Where is she?" I yelled suddenly. Both of the men jumped. "Where are my weapons? Why are you keeping me captive? Tell ME!" I yelled one question after another not allowing them to answer inbetween.

"Where IS MY SISTER!!!!!!!!" I yelled.  I don't want silence as an answer. I wanted to know one thing. It wasn't so hard to answer.

"She is away and safe from you. That's all you're gunna get today." An authoritative voice called out. It was the same voice from last night. The leader's voice, and it was coming from behind me. I cursed underneath my breath. Once again I let someone get behind me. I didn't even sense him get behind me. He is good at what he does. Probably killed to become leader, no one would even suspect him until it was too late. This man was dangerous and I need to get away from these psychos.

I laughed coldly. "Safe? From me? That's a joke."

"Come, lets talk. You and I are gunna talk about how you are going to earn your sister back." His mouth curved up in a grin, while I could only look at him in shock.

He walked to a tent set up in the back of the store and all I could do was follow.

In this world, I finally understood. Its kill or be killed. Use or be used.
