The first time Dianne ever slept round Joe's apartment was after they had filmed their reaction video to their Jive and Charleston. They filmed both the videos on the same day, meaning by the time they had finished it was 11pm. In addition, Dianne's phone was nearly running out, so they had just decided her staying there was safer and more practical. She slept in his spare room which was beside Byron's and she didn't mind that. But, Dianne didn't like sleeping too far away from someone. Since she was little she had always been scared of intruders, so when Byron was home she was alright downstairs because he was only in the room next door, but she couldn't bare to think how she'd cope if he wasn't, and the nearest person to her was Joe upstairs.

"Do you want to just sleep again? The spare room has basically become yours" Joe laughed. "I washed the clothes you left here last time so we can head straight to the studio in the morning" he offered.
"Yeah that sounds fine, is Byron home?" She asked, as she had not seen the South African.
"Nope, he's at his girlfriends" Joe told her. Dianne internally panicked, but she didn't share this with Joe. Over the last couple weeks, the two had really clicked. It was obvious to anyone. They had even kissed once or twice, so she didn't want to make things awkward by asking to sleep closer to him. "I'll go grab you a hoodie to sleep in." That's one of Dianne's most favourite things about Joe. He's just so caring. He immediately offers her warmth, comfort and love and it fills her heart with so much joy.

Two hours later and after a lot of laughter, Dianne was lying in the bed that as Joe said 'had become hers'. She was so unsettled already. The room itself was lovely, the bed was so comfortable, and in any other occasion she'd love it. But she felt so far away from him. She tossed and she turned. When Joe has left her in the room she asked him to keep the light on as she told him she would turn it off later, but in reality she was so nervous, she wanted it on the whole night. Before Joe departed he had said to her 'I'm just upstairs if you need me.' and Dianne though to herself she was about to take that offer very soon.

It was nearing 2 am, the apartment was eerily silent and all it took was on creak for Dianne to be on her feet with tears escaping her eyes as she ran to Joes room. Due to the her quick entrance, Joe bolted up, a little dazed as he was quickly awoken. "Di are you alright?" Joe asked, rubbing his eyes. Diannes heart melted as she watched him.
"Can I sleep in here, I don't want to be alone, I can sleep on the floor, I just don't like being so far away" She rambled. Joe smiled.
"Yeah course, you can sleep in the bed though, I'll take the floor" he offered. He was about to get out before Dianne stopped him.
"Actually, we can just both stay in the bed if you want?" Dianne said. Joe smiled and pulled back the covers inviting her in. Unconsciously they both quickly got into a comfortable position which happened to be entwined with each other.
"How come you were so scared? You're normally alright downstairs." Joe mumbled into her hair.
"Because Byron's only in the room next to me, I know someone's nearby" she told him.
"Why didn't you say sooner? You could've just come in here to begin with." Dianne could hear how sleepy Joe actually was.
"I was embarrassed" Joe chuckled at Dianne's little whine.
"Don't be, I actually prefer this a lot" he said. "You're lukewarm, it's the perfect temperature" Dianne giggled.
"You speak utter nonsense when your tired" Dianne told him.
"It is like 3 am, plus it's not a lie" Joe again spoke to her hair. "Let's sleep I'll book you a therapy session in the morning." Dianne giggled at his joke, but nonetheless placed her head on his chest and started to softly drift to sleep.

After that it just became an unspoken thing, whenever Dianne slept over it was in Joe's bed, it was no longer in the spare bed downstairs. The sleepovers became more and more frequent as well. Whilst Joe has Caspar, Jack, Connor and Josh over on a Sunday night as that's his free day, he also had Dianne over as they filmed their reaction video that morning. He had asked if she'd liked to stay and film a video with the boys and she happily agreed, she loved getting to know them all further. Byron was also here and luckily so was his girlfriend, Emily. Dianne liked her, she was nice and pretty and easy to get a long with. They were both from Australia and the boys smiled as their cute accents filled the room. "Hi guys, today we have" Jack started.
"Joe"
"Connor"
"Josh"
"Caspar"
"Byron"
"Emily"
"Dianne" For some reason Dianne couldn't say her name with out bursting into a fit of giggles, everyone else also laughed at her warm spirit. "Sorry I'm ready"
"So rude" Jack jokes making her laugh again. "Today we're going to be doing a British versus South African versus Australian quiz, Dianne and Emily are team Oz, these three are the South Africans and is great individuals are the British."
"Wait! There's only two of us, that is unfair, it's got to be balanced." Dianne said, the lads laughing at her little whine.
"I was about to get to that!" Jack laughed. "Gosh Joe how do you keep up?"
"We're normally on the same team so her competitiveness isn't bad"
"Right well everyone gets three lifelines, ask the person the question is on for a clue, call a friend, or google. And Dianne and Emily you get two clues" Dianne nodded, pretty satisfied with her bartering skills.

"First question is about the British. So, Joe has the cutest little freckle, is it on his left bum check or his right?"
"Considering two of you have lived with me and seen me naked on many occasions you should know this!" Joe accused due to how baffled the boys in the middle looked.
"I haven't lived with you or seen you in anything less than you're in now" Emily complained. Dianne quickly thought about it and knew the answer. She whispered 'right' in Emily's ear.
"I was trying to think if it was my left or right or yours" Dianne laughed. "It was too much" Joe laughed at her. When it came time to reveal the answers, both teams got it correct as the South African boys used up one of their life lines.
"I like tea, there's one specific brand I will drink, what is it?" Byron asked.
"I should know this but I really don't" Emily laughed. Dianne leaned back to look at Joe who luckily caught her eyesight. She nodded towards her cup of tea that was probably cold now and Joe nodded back. Again Dianne told Emily the answer and Emily writ it down.
"We're doing so well!" Again both teams got it right.
"As a child I danced ballroom, Latin, contemporary, tap and what other dance style?" Caspar stood up.
"How am I meant to know that?" Everyone laughed. "Joe dances with you every day" Again everyone laughed.
"Yeah but we only do Latin and ballroom" Dianne said.
"We're phoning a friend." Josh decided for his group. "We want to ring Kevin Clifton or someone" Dianne laughed and pulled out her phone pressed call to Kevin and passed it to them.
"Could've just rang me lads, I knew the answer."
"I fancy Kevin"

Once the game ended it was nearing 11pm, Dianne and Emily had both gone and changed into some comfier clothes. Dianne felt a little insecure as Emily had brought some fresh, pink, silk pyjamas where as she was in some shorts and joes shirt, but she got over it. "I am going to head to bed, we have to leave for training at 9" Dianne announced, followed by a yawn.
"Okay Di, I'll be up soon" Joe said smiling as she got up from her place next to him and gracefully went upstairs.
"Firstly she is fit, secondly you two are definitely together and lastly she's fit" Jack said in the typical Jack way.
"I mean I agree she is pretty fit but can we just talk about how she literally walks like a princess, she doesn't have an ungracious bone in her body" Josh said. "She's so light an airy."
"Good to know lads, not that I see her everyday" Joe chuckled. "Anyway I'm going to head to bed also, if you're crashing, the guest bedroom is made and theirs blankets in that bin there" he told them before making his way upstairs. He smiled as he saw Dianne laid softly under his blankets, smiling back at him.
"That was quick" Dianne smiled.
"I just had to say goodnight" Joe told her as he climbed beside her. "Couldn't leave you for too long"
"We are attached at the hip to be honest, and as Craig said 'I can fault you for somethings but your chemistry together is on a different level to everyone else's' and that's Craig" Dianne said adding a little laugh at the end.
"Exactly."
