"And remember, if there's WiFi on the plane, buy it and I'll transfer you the money in the morning." Joe finished his long rant at Dianne. She was heading back to Australia for Christmas but as she bought the flights months ago and she and Joe wasn't together at that point, Joe was staying in England.
"I think I can afford a few pound Joe." She smiled hugging into him even further.
"I know but I like to treat you, even if you are on the literal other side of the world." Dianne leant up to kiss him once more.
"You're the kindest person. I'll be fine, I'll call you once I get there." She promised.
"Be safe please."

"Hi babe! I'm on the plane can you hear me?" Dianne said into her phone. As soon as she bought the WiFi, she plugged in her phone and put her headphones in she FaceTimed Joe.
"Yeah just shouts, hows the flight?"
"It's alright. Got no one sat on my row, and I have a window seat look!" Joe smiled as she pressed her phone against the glass to show him.
"I'm happy for you love. Were you alright in the airport on your own?" He was always so worried for her and that's what made Diannes heart melt. She had seen a few comments (very few as most were insanely supportive of the two) about how Anthony was a real man and Joe was a boy, but Dianne didn't even care. All that mattered to her is that one could go weeks without speaking to her and forget her birthday and the others main concern is her, every single day.
"Yeah, I bought a shepherds pie and then slept. I also bought a colouring book of celebrities and look!" She squealed. "You're in it." He laughed as she showed him the poorly coloured in photo. But what warmed his heart was the little love hearts she had hand drawn around him.
"I love it. It's 11 here now, I've just been on Twitter, everyone's awaiting your safe arrival." Dianne smiled at him.
"Oh bless them, I miss-" Dianne saw a body in her side vision so took an ear phone out. "Hi" she smiled.
"Sorry miss, would you like a drink and a snack?" The flight attendant asked.
"Could I have a tea and them biscuits please" The man nodded and quickly made them for her before carrying on. She put her head phone back in. "Sorry, I was going to say I miss you so much already."
"Same here, it's weird to not have a red headed puppy begging for attention all the time." Dianne laughed.
"Oh shush. Look though, I get a blanket! And a pillow" Dianne was always so amazed by the littlest of things.

It took Joe 4 hours without any contact to realise how much he was going to miss her on this trip. He was so concerned about her well-being, and in his defence, Di was unpredictable, she was so much fun but sometimes put herself in danger. He knew she'd be alright as her family was meeting her at the airport but the time difference was going to be a big problem for them. Before he went to sleep he sent her a final text. 'Going to sleep now as it's nearly 1, I'll be up at 9 for my meeting, text once you've landed safe. Have the best time, love you x'. God this was going to be a long 10 days.

It had been 4 days and Dianne was joe sick as she was calling it. She was having the best time seeing all her family again but she hadn't been away from Joe for longer than 6 hours in literally 15 weeks and now they were going days apart. Not only that but due to the time difference, there was only a certain period where they were able to text and call one another. Dianne decided to send Joe a picture for him to wake up to. She had taken his denim jacket with her so she slipped it over her bikini, closing it slightly to cover up a bit before taking the photo. She immediately sent it him and wrote 'Going to the beach today, perfect opportunity to wear your coat! I'm coming back from the beach in two hours so if you're free we can call? Love you xxx' Dianne knew it was 3 am in London so Joe wouldn't be awake for hours, but she was alright waiting.

Joe replied hours later telling her he was super busy with rehearsals for his and Stacey's NYE show but he will sneak in a call, and he kept true to his word. Dianne rant him and as he saw her name flash up, he pressed the phone to his ear and walked to the side. "Hi babe!" He greeted.
"Hello." Joe immediately picked up on the fact she sounded quite upset.
"Di are you alright?" He asked quickly.
"I really miss you." Joe didn't even turn round to motion he was going outside, he just left, Dianne was his first priority. Always.
"Don't get upset babe. It's only 4 more days and you'll be back on the plane. Where's your family?" He asked her.
"They've gone out for food." She sniffled.
"Don't mope all day Di, have fun with your family, and then come home and we can do whatever we want until the rehearsals for tour." She hummed on the other line.
"Yeah. Can we just stay in bed?" Joe chuckled. Dianne was literally his soul mate.
"Of course babe." After a long phone call, and a hard goodbye, Joe walked back in the studio. "Sorry about that." He said to Stacey and Steve the man who was helping them run their guide lines.
"It's alright bro"
"Is she okay?" Stacey asked.
"A little upset but she's fine now." Joe smiled.
"Oh you's are perfect"

After a long 10 days apart, the pair were finally reunited. "That time difference was far too much. Let's not do that again" Dianne said as she snuggled into Joe. They were on his couch, spending as much time entangled together as possible. "I loved seeing my family but I felt like I didn't even relax, we were always doing things." Joe smiled.
"Well you have a week to relax before rehearsals start for the tour." Dianne groaned. "Hey!"
"I'm joking, I don't mind rehearsals anymore since you pick things up better" Joe laughed at her and pulled her even closing, although it wasn't really possible.
