"Why are you being so moody?" Joe asked Dianne quickly after he walked into the dressing room they had begun to share.
"I'm not" Dianne shrugged, tying her dressing gown round her. They had just finished this weeks episode and we're getting ready to leave.
"You haven't spoken to me since we've left the stage, you barely smiled the whole dance, and you've come back in here to sulk to whole time, so again why are you being so moody?" He pestered.
"Because Joe, I asked you three times to make sure you'd be here to help me figure out how to allow my mum and dad to watch the show live, and I texted you four times to ask where you were and I got no response, so in the end they couldn't watch it." Dianne said to him. She didn't make eye contact once.
"Is that all? You could've asked someone else!" Joe said. "I was with Janette and Amy"
"Yeah I could've but after my boyfriend promised, I didn't think he'd let me down so I waited too long, and nice to know who you were with" Dianne laughed.
"So is that it? Are you jealous I was with Amy and Janette?" Dianne finally looked at him now, with her 'are you serious' look. "Well is it?"
"No and even if it was, you know how it's hard for me since last time!" Dianne said, referring back to when Anthony used to party with so many girls, resulting in Dianne finding out about him kissing so many of them.
"It's not like that! If you can't trust me, I don't even know why we're in this situation, I can't speak to two girls without getting accused."
"I didn't accuse you of anything! Why are you being like this?" Joe was never like this, never.
"Because you're just too much sometimes!" Dianne grabbed her bag and phone and stood up.
"Nice to know, thanks" She immediately passed him to leave the room.
"Di wait, I didn't mean that" Joe started but Dianne had already left, still with that soft dressing gown wrapped around her.Di I'm so sorry, I didn't mean a word I said. I was talking to Janette and Amy about you, please call I'll explain. X
Have you gone back to yours? Just let me know you're safe please x
My doors unlocked if you still want to come here x
I'm so sorry, really I am.
You're the best Di, I'm so grateful for you.Dianne still had her apartment, not far from Joes. Usually, she slept at his house, especially since they started dating. It had been three weeks since she last went home, but that night she went back. She laid in her bed and just cried softly to herself. She didn't want it to be like this with him, she truly thought they were soul mates, she didn't want this.
After a terrible nights sleep, joe woke up ready for training. He luckily already knew where it was so he made his way there, stopping to pick up breakfast for himself and Dianne. Once he arrived he started to eat his breakfast and just waited. He started to worry at half nine when Dianne still hadn't shown, and just when he was going to call she walked in. "Sorry, didn't sleep well" she mumbled.
"I've got you breakfast." She quickly looked at him and just nodded.
"Thanks, we will practice a couple times then I'll eat it."In order to do a good quick step, you have to be very close to one another. So despite their current feud, Joe and Dianne had to put there bodies close together. They ran it over and over, only stopping when someone went wrong, they didn't speak about anything other than the dance, and it was starting to hurt Dianne. They were usually so comfortable around each other and they'd kiss, laugh, mess around, just really make the environment fun. They were running the dance and it was at one of the fastest points and Dianne just stopped. "Did I go wrong?" Joe asked, as that was the usual reasoning for them stopping. He didn't notice it until he looked at Dianne and she had her head in her hands and she was quietly crying. "Oh Di" Joe said wrapping his arms around her quickly, trying his best to comfort her. "Let's sit for five yeah?" He led her over to the sofa, and he wanted to shout with glee when she snuggled her head onto his shoulder. "I'm so sorry" he said again rubbing her back.
"I'm sorry I can be too much, I don't mean to be" she said. "I just get so lonely here and I really wanted them to watch the show, it had nothing to do with Janette and Amy" she sniffled on to his shoulder.
"That's my fault, I know that and I chose to ignore that. I'm so sorry Di, I was speaking to Janette and Amy about how wonderful you were and I got so into the conversation I just forgot" he told her honestly, as he carried on rubbing her back. "I'm so sorry"
"That's alright" she finally lifted her head and gave him a teary smile.
"Let's not argue again though, I was very worried about your where abouts last night" Joe told her.
"I am sorry about that, I just went to bed as soon as I got home" Joe nodded.
"Understandable" He said before he bent down to kiss her. "Can we nap for half a hour then dance? I barely got a wink of sleep last night" he near begged.
"Sounds good with me" she said. "I was the same" they quickly manoeuvred themselves so that Dianne was lying on the inside of the couch and joe was on the outside and they were basically wrapped around each other. "This is much better than last night" Dianne smiled.
"I couldn't agree more"
