~Jungkook pov~
Honestly, the best option is running away. I've been thinking. I've been thinking all day actually. If we just run away, then Taehyung will be free. If we do it at night, then his dad won't know. I hope this works, I think it will too be hard, if we are careful. It's pretty simple so, I hope Taehyung will go along with it. But, I have no idea when he's coming back down. It's I'm guessing around 5 in the afternoon. The sun is setting, so that seems like the right time. I don't have a clock. I know it's been hours since the morning because I'm really hungry.
I can hear that his mom has come home. If I wanted, I could yell for help. She would hear. But, I don't want to get Taehyung into trouble.
I sighed and rolled around the mattress. This thing is a very uncomfortable bed. I miss my bed. I could call my parents- I felt around my pockets. They must have taken my phone when I was passed out. I sighed and sat up. At least this basement has a bathroom. If it didn't, I'd be in a big mess.
The door opened. I looked up and smiled, thinking Taehyung was coming down to give me food or something, but to my dismay, it was his father. I gulped and drew my knees to my chest. He walked over to me and stared at me.
"So, you're the little Jeon." He said. I didn't reply. I'm honestly scared to say something to him.
"Well, aren't you rude to your elders." He said. He reached down and grabbed a handful of my hair and pulled me up. I winced and reached up to grip his hands. He took his other hand and punched my stomach. I groaned and coughed. He dropped me. I felt back onto the mattress.
"You'll be put out of your misery soon, kid." He chuckled and walked off. He walked up the stairs and he walked through the door. I heard them lock again. What if he does kill me? Like right now... He could have. Taehyung wasn't here. Where is he anyway? I haven't heard any voices in a while.
The door opened. I jumped. I heard footsteps running down the stairs. It was Taehyung. He ran over to me. He engulfed me in a hug.
"Are you okay? Did he hurt you?" He asked.
"I-I'm fine Tae." I answered.
"No you're not, what did he do to you?" He asked.
"He punched me and pulled me up by my hair." I replied. Taehyung lifted my shirt up.
"Looks like he didn't punch you too harshly as he does me." Taehyung sighed in relief. He put my shirt down and looked at me.
"I'm sorry. He sent me to the store." He said.
"It's fine." I smiled.
"Hey, I was thinking... why don't we just leave, tonight? We can go get help." I said.
"Yeah, but, like I said, half of the gang members work at the station, they know me." Taehyung sighed.
"Is there anyone you know that is not part of the gang?" I asked. Taehyung thought.
"Hoseok's dad. But, he works at the station on the other side of town." Taehyung said.
"Then, we'll go there. Tae, we just have to leave tonight and run there, or drive, you have a car right?" I asked. He shook his head.
"You're older than me and you don't have a car?" I asked. He shook head.
"Well, let's steal your dad's." I said.
"I don't have a license." He said. I sighed.
"I do." I said.
"Yeah, but my dad keeps his car keys on his nightstand. He's a light-ass sleeper. We would never get them. Our best bet is to honestly run. And I mean run." Taehyung said.
