Mitchel's POV
"Another please." I ask. Slamming the glass down on the counter. We were meeting at our go to club to celebrate performing at the BBMA's. I was excited until I found out Alexa was coming too. I didn't want to cause problems so I thought arriving early would loosen me up once I down a few drinks.
Unfortunately, it was doing the opposite. I was feeling more anxious as time went by. I was contemplating whether I should call someone to supply me pills to calm me down, but I decide against it. I hadn't heard from Christian since I left him a few days ago. Maybe it was because I was doing my best to avoid him.
"Look who it is," A somewhat deep voice says behind me. "Mitchel Cave."
I roll my eyes and take a sip of my drink, ignoring the person behind me. I recognised the voice immediately, but I didn't want to be seen associating with him. Too many memories with one person.
"Don't ignore me. Don't you know that's rude?" he adds, raising the pitch of his voice to sound like an over dramatic teenage girl. I roll my eyes, clenching my glass in my hand. I didn't need this, and I definitely didn't need it happening when everyone else arrived.
"What do you want Matthew?" I ask, making sure there was disgust in my voice when I said his name. He ignored me, and turns to the bartender to order his usual drink.
"I saw you sitting all by your lonesome. Thought you might want some company." He leans against the counter, looking down at me. I wanted to take my glass and throw it against the wall. I ignore him, looking over at the door, waiting for someone I knew to show up so I could escape. I sigh and rub my temples, attempting to make this painful interaction go away.
"What do you want?" I hiss. "I'm trying to enjoy a peaceful night out. Would you mind going away?"
He shakes his head. My frustration building even more.
"You haven't asked for much lately." He whispers lowly into my ear. I could feel his hot breath down my neck. I hated it.
I slam my hand down on the bar, moving closer to him so he could hear me. "I'm not here to deal with your bullshit. If you wanna harass someone, go find someone will participate." I snarl at him.
"Oh, So scared." He replies in a mocking voice. I roll my eyes, getting up to find a different spot to sit. I had no idea what was taking everyone so long.
"Mitchel!" I quickly turn around, almost jumping 10 feet in the air. Pat was behind me. I wonder how much of our conversation he had over heard.
"You could've called." He shrugs, glancing down at the notification that lit up his phone. I look over at Matthew and he silently gets up from his seat. He was finally leaving me alone. Out of the corner of my eye I could see Clinton raise his eyebrow, but I avoid making eye contact.
"Who were you talking to?" Christian asks as we make our way over to Jesse. I was doing my best to ignore Matthew. Although, I could feel him staring at us.
"Yeah...who's that?" I glance behind me and mouth "fuck off" before turning around and shrugging.
"He's nobody." I couldn't have come up with a more pathetic answer. I watch intently as Jesse orders a round of shots for all of us.
