Mitchel's POV

"We should go out tonight." Clinton says as he makes breakfast.

"Every time we go out, something bad happens." Jesse replies.

"The man isn't wrong." I hear Pat say as he butters some toast.

"Mitchel can you set the table?" I make a weird face at the request but reluctantly get up and do so.

"Have a place in mind?" I ask Clinton. He shrugs and cracks another egg into the pan.

"Club maybe." He says after a few minutes. I nod my head and put the last fork on the table.

"I'll go get Christian" I excuse myself and head towards his room. I hear Jesse mutter something about Christian and I but I ignore it. I knock softly and I hear him say come in.

"Breakfast is almost ready. Come on out." I say to him.

"I have something for you." I cock my head to the side and he motions for me to sit down. I walk over and sit next to him. I watch as he reaches into his nightstand table and takes a box out.

"You're proposing?" I ask him, making his face turn slightly red.

"All in due time." he replies. Now it was my turn to turn red. I roll my eyes and he opens the box.

"Now that I think about it, it's not necessarily for you but it involves you."

"You got the same necklace." I say confused.

"You're stupid." he says.

"What do you mean?" He takes the necklace out and removes his from under my shirt. I kept forgetting to give it back to him but it made me feel comfortable whenever I wasn't with him. It was like a piece of him was with me even if he wasn't physically.

"We match." he says happily. I look down and hold the necklace in my hand after he lets go.

"Oh" I smile to myself and I could feel his eyes on me.

"Don't flatter yourself too much, Mitty." I bite my lip and look at the necklace again.

"Keep mine and I'll wear this one." I nod my head and help him put the necklace on.

"That was nice of you." I close the clasp of the necklace and look up at him and he shrugs, avoiding looking at my eyes.

"Thank you." I say genuinely

"We are best friends. You seemed to like the necklace so I figured we could have the same one, since I like it a lot too." he says shyly. I smile at him and give him a quick hug.

"Thanks broski." I playfully punch him in the arm and he let's out a laugh. I did my best to keep my hands to myself to avoid getting carried away, even though he pushed the limits at times. He quickly stands up and I do too.

"Let's go eat." I give him a small smile and we walk out his room.

"Took you long enough." Clinton says, putting the dishes of food on the table.

"We were doing something, sorry." I reply

"Was Christian that something?" Jesse asks.

My jaw drops and Christian's face turns red. We shake the comment off and I avoid the uncomfortable tension Jesse created. I see a yummy dish with eggs, sausage and bacon in front of me and we all forget about the awkward moment.

"Can't believe our performance is in a two months" I say shocked.

"How many people normally go to this damn thing?" Pat asks while shoving a forkful of eggs in his mouth. They tasted really good and Clinton was improving his cooking skills but I was still better.
