When we all got into the building, the place was already swarming with people.
"Jesus, I wasn't expecting it to be THIS packed" Merceedes said
"I almost feel like I don't belong here" Jessica laughed
"Well I'm not sure about you guys, but I'm gonna be hanging around the punch" I said
"Alright, just don't get lost" Merceedes said
I parted away from the group and walked over to the punch corner. The table was packed with snacks, food, and of course the punch. I grabbed a cup and started filling it up with punch.
"Had a feeling you'd be over here"
I turned around and saw that somehow, Macy came to the party.
"Hey Macy wasn't expecting to see you here. I thought parties weren't your thing" I said
"Oh don't worry. My anxiety is shooting through the roof right now" Macy laughed
"Too many people?" I asked
"Oh hell yeah, I'm assuming that's why you're here" Macy replied
"Yep" I stated
Macy held out her cup.
"Cheers to the socially awkward?" Macy asked
"Cheers," I said
We tapped our drinks together, as we watched the party dance, and talk.
"Oh hey, there is this person who wanted to see you, she is pretty new to the school. I think she just transferred." Macy said
"Really? Where is she?" I asked
"Well she told me to have you meet her in a side street just across from here" Macy said
"Doesn't sound suspicious whatsoever" I laughed, taking a drink of my punch
"I'd be a miracle if you don't get shot in the back or something" Macy laughed
I spat out my punch, almost falling on the ground.
"Oh shit, I'm sorry if I brought up any bad memories," Macy said
I waved my hand.
"No, no it's okay. Anyway I'll go meet this person" I said
"Alright, I'll wait for you here" Macy said
I sat my punch on the table and made my way through the crowds of people. I pushed the buildings double doors open and walked outside, the cold night air hitting me in the face.
"Meet her in the side street" I said to myself.
I looked across the street and saw what Macy might have been talking about. I walked across the street to the other side and made my way down the alleyway type street.
"So, where is this person," I thought
"Is that you Rick?" said a high pitch voice.
I turned around and saw the girl, who I'd assume wanted to see me.
"Wait....aren't you the girl who I ran into the other day" I said
