"Ick!" someone shouted
I felt my arm twitch.
"RICK!" shouted the voice again
I shot awake, grabbing my arm.
"M....m...my arm!" I cried
"It's okay, it's okay. It's fine" The voice said
It was the nurse who helped me in the hospital for the 13 weeks I was there.
"Where....am I?" I asked
"You're at the hospital, a friend found you screaming in an alleyway" The Nurse said
"Really? I'm sorry I don't remember much" I said
"No you're fine, just be glad the friend found you when you did" The nurse said
"Who was it" I asked
"You can come in now!" called the nurse
I looked over to the door as it was opened, and I saw Jessica walk in with Macy behind her.
"Is he okay?" Jessica asked
"Yeah, from the looks of it he just had a severe panic attack." The nurse said
"Oh thank god" Macy said
I looked over to Jessica and she looked back at me, smiling.
"What happened?" I asked Jessica
"I heard screaming so I went to check it out and when I got there, you were in the fetal position rocking back and forth screaming." Jessica replied
"Rick, do you remember what happened?" Macy asked
I tried to look back, what caused me to have a panic attack that lead me to the hospital? Everything from that night was blurry. I couldn't remember any of it.
"no.....I....can't quite remember" I replied
"Hmmmm interesting" The nurse said
"What is it?" Jessica said
"It appears that his mind changed in some area" The nurse said
"Changed?" I asked
"Yeah, the last time I looked at your brain waves. Which was about the time you had your last visit, but now it's different." The Nurse replied
"Different how?" Jessica asked
"Different as in it looks like he is missing some of his memory" The Nurse said.
"But isn't that common with panic attacks and that sort of thing" Macy asked
"Yeah, but unlike that. This one looks like it was deliberate, like someone forcibly removed it" The Nurse said
"Removed it?" Jessica asked
"Yeah, I mean now with people like you showing up, someone is bound to have some power like that" The Nurse said
"I have a feeling this is what the director was talking about" Jessica asked
