My world

Kaycees POV

As I stare at the words on the wall and widen my eyes and I feel them get glossy. A tear falls from my eyes as I read more.

I fall, with arms catching me. "Kaycee, your ok. Your ok. It's ok. Your safe." I hear soothing words come out of his mouth. Sean, the one and only boy who could make me feel this way.

He helps me up and I gulp down my saliva. "Kaycee rice? Do you kids know who Kaycee rice is?" A police officer asks and they all look at me. "I'm Kaycee rice." I say putting my hand up. He looks at me and nods. "Do you have an idea about who this might be?" He asked and I shake my head.

"Ok let's get you guys outside and call your parents" he said and we all walked outside. We called our parents and when we all finished an other cop came to us. "What were you guys doing at school this late?" He asks and all my friends look at Sean and I. "Looking for them two" they all said in unison.

We stare at them weirdly and gabe puts his hands up. "We rehearsed this just in case we got caught" he says and we all laugh earning a chuckle from the cop.  "Well can I just speak to you two alone for now." He says pointing at me and Sean and the rest of the crew walks away.

"So, explain to me why you guys were at school so late?" He asks and we both sigh. "Well, we've had a rough couple of.. uh weeks, and well we were dancing cause we do dance, and I got sad and emotional. So I ran off and hid in the janitor closet." I started and looked at Sean.

"I ran after her and opened the door. I went inside and uh... uh.. kissed her? As an um... apology cause I uh.... anyways, yea so she got mad and she ran to the door, she tried to open it, but-." Sean says and the officer starts chuckling.

"It was locked?" He says and we nod our heads slowly. "Ok. We can talk to you later" he says and walks off.

Time skip

Me and Sean were back home just sitting in our own rooms. I was thinking about today and everything that happened. My mom gave me a big lecture on how I should be more careful. I just nodded my head the whole time and once she finished and went to my room.

I sigh and walk out my window into the middle of the tree. Singing, like I usually do when I'm in my feelings.

"I wanna be alone, alone with you, does that make sense?"

"I wanna steal your soul, and hide you in my treasure chest"

"I don't know what to do, to do with your kiss on my neck"

"I don't know what feels true, but this feels right to stay a sec,"

"Yea this feels right so stay a sec.."

Sean's POV

I'm just laying on my bed. Looking at the ceiling and thinking. Today was full of different emotions. Sadness, anger, love, lust, happiness, wonder, confusion, fear. I was so happy once Kaycee forgave me, then we saw the message on the wall. I need to get my mind of of this!

I think to myself, I normally would go to the tree and sing randomly but I haven't lately. I get up and open my window but get interrupted by a beautiful voice.

"And let me crawl inside your veins,
I'll build a wall, give you a ball and chain"

I love this song. Hostage by Billie Eilish. I look closely and see the most beautiful girl I have ever seen in my life.

Kaycee Caitlin Rice

I crawl out my window and walk closer but she doesn't notice.

"Just let me hold you"

"Like a h-."

"Hostage"

She looks at me surprised once I finished her lyric. She smiles and looks back down. I sigh and sit next to her. She glances over to me and puts her head back down.

I chuckle and put my arm up and she instantly cuddles up to me. I put my arm around her and run my hand up and down along her arm warming her up.

"You ok?" I ask her and she doesn't say anything. I feel a teardrop fall onto my skin and instantly pull her closer. "Kaycee what's wrong? C'mon." I ask her and she looks back up at me and looks down again.

"I-I feel like... like every time something good happens, the world just doesn't want me to be happy anymore. Like it wants me to be so fucking depressed all the time." She says and I sigh. "Well that definitely worked!" She shouts to no one in particular and looks back down.

"Kaycee, things might be down now, but everything will be good. You still got to have hope. You've got your mom, Kylie, your friends." I say. "You.." she adds and I smile. "You will always have me kaycee. Always. I will never leave you. Okay. It's because I love you and you know that." I say to her and she nods her head.

"By the way, your a really good singer" she says and I chuckle. "Says you" I reply and she looks at me grinning. She laughs and leans back into my arms.

"I love you Sean" she says and I smile. "I love you too kaycee" I reply. She sits up and looks at me and starts giggling. "Then if you love me, say it to the whole world!" She shouts and starts laughing.

I chuckle and lean to her ear and whisper. "I love you" I lean back and she looks at me. "Why did you whisper it to me?" She asks and I chuckle.

"Because you are my world"

Awwww the last part. I'm crying from my own story. Ahhhh
