Angelize had been distressed and distraught the whole day.
Saturday arrived. Angelize sighed and put aside her worries as she rummaged through her cupboard to find some decent clothings. She ended up wearing a colorful skirt with a pink T-shirt and knee-high white stockings. She wore her usual dark blue hoodie.
Outside, clouds were seen gathering. Thunder and lightening could be observed.
Grabbing her tablet and an umbrella, she left her apartment.
With her typical hood covering her head and ear plugs in her ears, Angelize had a mysterious yet bewitchingly alluring aura.
There was a light and pleasant sprinkle of rain at that time. Angelize didn't feel any need to open her umbrella.
She took a taxi to defence area. On her way, she saw roads becoming wider and greenery surrounding the roadsides. Angelize sneered.
This was where the aristocracy lived with their privileged life, unaware of the lives and sufferings of the people in slums.
It was no secrete.
Angelize hated them. She hated their hypocritical views. Generations after generations of their idle lifestyles had turned them into slack and self-indulgent idiots. They were nothing but a bunch of incapable mindless idlers and the fact that they were controlling and leading the mankind.
Angelize hated class system that feeded on the suffering of poor.
She hated the disregard of talent.
She hated the pompous and snobbish nature of these people.
She hated the fact that once she was one of them, with the same mentality.
The experiences of the past had left a sharp impression on her. They had reshaped her views and transformed her into her present self. Her present self deeply despised her past self.
The taxi stopped. Angelize blinked and came back to reality.
She stepped out of taxi to find a huge mansion that clearly stood stall among others. She was received by their housekeeper who led her inside. She sat on some couches and asked for Christain.
The housekeeper told her to wait there and that he would inform Christain of her arrival.
Just like outside, the inside of the house was glittering with lavish expenditure and affluence. The inside temperature was regulated. Angelize had to take off her hoodie when she started sweating.
After some time Angelize took out her tablet and got herself busy with something.
"You are Angelize, Christain friend from school?", a soft vice entered Angelize ears and broke her profound concentration.
Angelize long eyelashes lifted up to find a little chubby woman, perhaps in her forties. She looked like a typical countrywoman with rustic clothing and a pure and warm smile.
"Yes", Angelize replied reticiently and asked politely, "And you are..."
The woman eyes twinkled with merriment as she replied fervently.
"I'm Christain mother"
She was clearly excited to see Angelize.
Angelize stood up and paid her greetings formally.
Angelize didn't expect that woman to be Christain mother. Only when she mentioned it did Angelize notice her similar golden blond hair and other alike features. Her looks were pretty and pure. One could tell that she must have been a striking beauty in her youth.
Contrary to Angelize expectations, she was simple warm-hearted mother.
Angelize had expected to meet an artificial cynical person with expensive clothing and heavy makeup who would treat Angelize coldly due to lack of her prominent background. That was one of the reason for her reluctance to pair up with Christain. But his mother was clearly the opposite.
Once the two of them sat on the sofas and chatted for long time, Angelize learned a lot of embarrassing things about Christain as Ms. Blade frequently mentioned him in her talk. Angelize lips curled up as she thought of the ways to torture Christain latter using those new pieces of information.
As Christain climbed down the stairs, his eyes widened to see his mother and Angelize chatting fervently.
"Mom!", Christain voice uttered suddenly, "What are you doing here! Didn't you say that you were going for shopping?"
Ms Blade looked at her son with unhappy face.
"I was going to but it suddenly started raining and why didn't you tell me that you were bringing your girlfriend home. At least I would have prepared something for her"
Christain was startled. He uttered out of panic.
"She is not my girlfriend!"
"You've never brought home any girl before. Such a pretty girl. How can she not be your girlfriend? Its alright Mama knows everything. You don't need to be shy about it", Ms Blade winked at Christain.
His face reddened.
He looked at Angelize as if pleading her to say something. Angelize took a sip of her tea silently and didn't say anything to end the misunderstanding.
He was dumbstruck to see her stifling a smile.
She was actually rejoicing in his embarrassment!
"Angelize darling, why don't you stay for dinner", Ms Blade ignored her son.
The intimacy with which his mother addressed Angelize!
Christain was again left stunned. What did happen between those two during the time of his absence!
Christain was fretting.
"I would love to Ms Blade but..."
"Drop the formality. Call me Auntie", Ms Blade cut her. "And I'll not listen to any excuses. You are staying for dinner. I'll cook it with my own hands. You won't regret it. I'm very good at cooking"
"Okay", Angelize mouthed out with a smile.
Christain was scared of the speed at which their bond was deepening.
At this rate, it wouldn't been long before his mother adopted Angelize and kicked him out of his home.
No he has to stop it.
"Mom, she is my partner for the computer assignments this year and she will be visiting frequently so..."
"Really!", Ms Blade eyes lit up with once again as she cut Christain abruptly completely ignoring him, "That's so good. Next time you come, I'll take you to have a stroll with me in my garden. There are a lot of flowers and vegetables I grew myself. You'll love it. And you know...",Ms Bade continued her chatter.
Christain wanted to cry. Her mother had clearly grown fond of Angelize. She had no idea that this girl had threatened her son of making him impotent.
"Mom, she is here to do the assignment!", he cried, "Let me take her to my room so that we can do the assignment that is due in just one week!", he said all that in just one breath.
At this his mom stopped talking. She frowned slightly then said afterwards:
"Alright. You two go upstairs. I'll prepare the dinner. But keep the door open. I'll keep a watch. Don't do naughty things'
Christain: "!!!"
