[Lucas' POV]
It's been a while since I have started my job. I'm used to handling customers without being super awkward. Except.....
"3 shots of caramel with that as well, please." The only man I can not stand! Yoshiro smirks at me as he flirtatiously draws a heart on the counter. What is this man 3 years old?!
Ever since our awkward meeting he has been being super weird towards me.
This is ridiculous!!! Can he just not be a normal customer?!
What makes it even worse is that he won't even let Umeko take his order anymore, he is always requesting me to do it. I'm a busy man! I don't have time for his nonsense anymore!
"That'll be $5.50 sir." I roll my eyes as he hands me his card. "Ya know you don't have to call me sir everytime you see me right?" He said as I handed him his change. "You're a customer, I'm only using my manners." He then smiles at me. "Well, I do like a boy with manners."
"THAT'S IT! Umeko will finish your order! Good day sir!" I stormed off to the back as fast as my feet could take me.
[Yoshiro's POV]
I watched Lucas storm off as his face blushed so red that I thought he was gonna explode.
"Awww man, he looked so cute too." I dropped my face in my hands slightly frowning.
"You know, he is an innocent boy Yoshiro." Umeko rolls her eyes and giggles.
"I know, I know. Honestly I don't think our meeting was a coincidence though." A sad look replaced her cheerful one as soon as I said that.
"*Sigh* Ok ok. You win. I think you two would make a good couple." She slides my drink over to me. "Enjoy your day Yoshiro. Oh, and a word of advice. Lucas loves sushi. But be careful, I feel like he doesn't have experience with romance stuff. So take it easy." She winks then walks away giggling to herself.
I take my drink off the counter and make my way outside.
I have found myself thinking about Lucas a lot lately. I'm not sure if that's a good or bad thing.
When we bumped into each other he looked up at me with his piercing forest green eyes. I got lost in them, I've never had that feeling before. It kind of scares me honestly.
I haven't really had feelings for anyone. I've always been to busy with my work. And my work is just another problem.
With these thoughts swarming in my head and a new problem in my heart, I made my way to work.
[Lucas' POV]
"OH I CAN'T BELIEVE HIM! IT'S BEEN LIKE TWO WEEKS ALREADY! AND YET HE STILL COMES IN HERE FLIRTING LIKE AN IDIOT. AND I'M A MAN FOR CRYING OUT LOUD!" All he ever does is cause me frustration. Can he not just be a normal person for once and order his coffee and leave?!
After a while, Umeko comes into the back of the café smiling and giggling. "Oh Lucas, that man loves youuuu!~" she says as she pokes my chest lightly. "Don't say that. Umeko, does he usually do this to new workers?" She turns to look at me with a funny expression.
"Lucas I'm going to be honest with you. I have never seen him like this in my life! Whenever I see him he always asks about you. Even though he acts really corny sometimes, I think he is serious about you." I tilt my head to the side, "Really?"
Well, this is bad.
"Well in any case, I think you should give him a shot." Umeko shoots me a wink as she walks back out to the front. "Come on newbie! There is more customers!"
Oh man. What am I gonna do? I mean don't get me wrong I like Yoshiro, as a friend, I guess.
Maybe he will get over it soon. I say to myself as I head back to the front, before Umeko murders me.
