In Hope There Is Comfort Chapter 18

Fans often talk about the bromances between the members which ultimately led to the shipping of certain members.  Well over this sad time Hoseok and Taehyung grew closer.  Taehyung didn't think it was for anything more than he needed someone's shoulder to cry on. Hoseok, who knew he was bisexual never thought Taehyung would be someone he not only provided comfort to but would start to have feelings other than as his cheerful, joyful, older hyung. 

One night when Taehyung was in Jimin's bed, he and Tannie were facing the wall. Tae was lost deep in thought about his missing hyung. Next thing he knew was Hoseok telling him to move over some.  Hoseok crawled in next to him and spooned him.  He nuzzled himself into his neck and was trying to fall asleep.

"Hobi-hyung, do you think Jimin and Jungkook will be home soon?" Taehyung asks.

"I have no doubt." Hoseok says still nuzzling.

"Can I be honest for a moment?" Taehyung asks.

"You can always talk to me, why?" Hoseok says in a drowse

"I wish I understood even a little bit of what Jimin and Jungkook feel for each other." Taehyung says. "I mean hyung, what's it like to be in love with someone like that.  Jimin just adores Jungkook.  It's like his world is built around his love for him.  I wish I knew what that was like.  I've thought I've been in love but it was never anything like I see from them.  It makes me jealous some times."  Taehyung says,

"How does it make you jealous TaeTae?" Hoseok asks, face still nuzzled into Taehyung's neck.

"It just is so beautiful and pure.  The way they look at each other.  Like taking their eyes off each other would cause the other to disappear.  How wonderful that must feel." Tae whispers.

"Can I ask you a question Tae?"  Hoseok perks up.

"Sure hyung." Taehyung says.

"Are you truly jealous it's Jungkook and Jimin or is it because it's Jimin?" Hoseok ask boldly.

"Uuuuh, uuum, uuuh..." Taehyung is cut off.

"Be honest with yourself.  I want to hear the truth from you Kim Taehyung." Hoseok says as he sits up on his elbows.

Taehyung sighs..."I suppose it's because it's Jimin but hyung I am happy for them.  I just miss them so much."  he sighs again.  "Yes, I miss Jimin more."

"Can I ask you a question that is totally going to sound off-subject?" Hoseok ventures.

"I guess so." Taehyung sighs.

Hoseok pauses for a really long time as he is thinking how best to ask this next question.  He wants to make sure his next words hit home but don't cause him to run either.  Then he figures the best way to ask the question is just directly.

"Have you every been kissed or have you personally kissed a man?" Hoseok heaves out in a sigh.

"Well sure bro, I kiss you guys all the time." Taehyung says.

"That's not what I mean and you know it.  Have you ever KISSED a man?  Hoseok asks again.

Taehyung needs time to process this statement.

"Uuuuh, no hyung.  Why does that matter?" Taehyung ask kinda creeped out by the direction of the conversation.

"Have you ever wondered what it would be like?" Hoseok asks.

"Uuum, I suppose I thought about it when I would see Jimin or Jungkook kiss each other even if it was just a peck.  I just never thought mu...."  Taehyung is stopped cold as Hoseok rolls over him and begins to kiss him.  A full on full set of lips deep kiss...no tongue.  He doesn't necessarily resist.  As a matter of fact he continues to kiss Hoeseok just experiencing what it's like and it feels good. It's soft, warm, comforting. Taehyung doesn't necessarily want it to stop. He starts to respond back to Hoseok's kiss. Trying to experience and enjoy the sensation. They continue to kiss for a few minutes more before Hoseok breaks away breathless along with Tae.

"Hyu-hyung, is that what love feels like?" Taehyung asks innocently.

"No Tae, but it's just what one part of it can feel like. Real love is only felt deep within the heart. It can't be explained and there is no way to define it because it is something that is too incredible to believe when you are so deeply connected to someone on that level. It is the sense that without this person life is nothing and you don't necessarily feel like a better person in it. That is the love Jimin and Jungkook have for each other. No one can really understand it because it is theirs and it is deep. They are a special set of circumstances that brought just them together. I honestly think one could not live without the other. We should all want a love like theirs.

"H-hyung? Can I kiss you again?" Taehyung asks shyly.

"Tae kiss me if you have some affection for me but don't kiss me for the novelty of it. Do you understand?" says Hoseok.

"Yes, I do. Tae moves back closer to Hoseok and leans in and gives him some sweet but tentative kisses before each kiss gets longer and more passionate. Hoseok pulls Tae's body closer to his. Tae casually throws his leg over Hoseok's hips to pull their bodies closer to each other enjoying the sensation of their warmth and comfort. They finally break their kiss. Tae gently strokes Hoseok's cheek and smiles at him with a sincere love in his eyes for his hyung. He's not sure about all of this just yet but he's thankful for it and Hoseok.

"Hyung...thank you." Tae says still looking into Hoseok's eyes.

"You're welcome bro...anytime." Hoseok winks at Tae. Taehyung gives him his boxy smile and they both close their eyes to get some much needed sleep.
