We Love My Crazy Korean Family Chapter 24

When Jungkook finally wakes up the next day Jimin is sitting right next to his bed holding is hand.  Jungkook notices in the fuzz of his awakening he is talking to someone.  He's trying to get his eyes to focus when he hears a deep voice he recognizes.

"So, yeah as I was saying Yoongi laid down the first track last night and we're just trying to tighten the-, Oh Jungkook you're awake."  Namjoon says.

Jungkook goes to say something but finds his voice is rough and his throat hurts badly.  Jimin hushes him before he can say anything.

"Uh huh, no baby, don't talk.  You don't want to damage your voice.  You were severely dehydrated so they want you to take baby steps." Jimin says with his brightest eye smile.

Jungkook smiles at Jimin and looks around the room.  He sees all of his hyung there and starts to cry.  He can barely make tears though.

"Oh, no Jungkookie, it's okay.  We're here for you bro." says Taehyung taking a hand and holding it and looking at him with such deep brotherly love.

Jungkook is hugged with enthusiasm by Hoseok, "My sweet maknae, I'm so glad you are awake.  We missed you and Jiminie so much.  You were so brave."

"Kookie, just rest and get better.  We all have something special for you when your voice is better." says Namjoon.

Yoongi comes up next and whispers in his ear, "I love you...and friendship is an Irish baam.  If you tell anyone what I just said I will kick your fucking ass." and gives him a kiss on the forehead.

The last causes Jungkook to laugh silently.

"My little brother.  I'm so glad you are awake and recovering.  I brought you some soup to help soothe your throat.  Don't let the nurses forget to give it to you for lunch and dinner.  We have to preserve the instrument."  Jin says with love and care.

Jungkook knows that without all of them...Namjoon, Jin, Hoseok, Yoongi, Taehyung, and Jimin he would just be another person in Korea.  Another dream not achieved.  Jungkook wanted to be somebody.  More than just Jeon Jungkook.  Thankful to his hyung he was more than that.  Thankful to a love he didn't know he needed and surely didn't expect in the form he received it in, he was a person who was exception.

Jungkook's family...his Bangtan Family, were crazy, funny, irrepressible, irreverent, loving, and self-deprecating was the best family to be in.  He had his brothers and the true love of his life.  It was crazy but it was Jungkook's Crazy Korean Family.
