Love Me Now Chapter 23

"Hands behind your back Seungri." A voice says.

Seungri slowly turns around to see the officers from Seoul and an officer from Masan P.D. in the room.  All pointing a gun at him.

"Turn around and put your hands behind your back!  NOW!" Repeats the voice of the officer of Masan P.D.

Jimin is still on the bed with Jungkook in his arms. Jungkook has slept through everything as exhaustion, starvation and dehydration have overtaken him.

A few minutes later a stretcher rolls into the room and Jimin gently relinquishes his hold on Jungkook knowing he needs to see a doctor soon.  Once Jungkook is on the stretcher Jimin leans over and whispers "I will see you soon my love." and gives him a kiss on the cheek.

Seungri is still in the room as they wheel Jungkook out to the hospital.  Jimin looks Seungri up and down with disgust.

"Yeah, I hear hell has a special place for people like you.  I can't wait for the day I hear the devil came to collect your sorry ass.  I will celebrate that day.  No matter how you die it will be because I killed you.  You can't even make suicide your escape because you'll know that in the end it was my love for Jungkook that killed you.  So...again...I killed you.  I will haunt your mind for the rest of your life." Jimin whispers into Seungri's ear.

Seungri hangs his head and he is escorted out of the room.

Jimin is taken in another police car to the hospital Jungkook is headed.  He has a big smile on his face.  He can't wait to see his hyung there.  He prays they will be there for him and Jungkook.  He can't think of a reason why they wouldn't.

When Jimin arrives he is escorted to a private room in the Emergency Department where he meets for the first time with Officers Yeonsu and Won. 

"Where are my hyung?" Jimin asks.  "I thought they would be here for me."

"They are on their way but we have some questions for you if you will be willing to answer them?" Officer Yeonsu asks.

"Sure." says Jimin.

"First, did Seungri hurt you in any way.  I see what appears to be old bruising to your neck and shoulders.  Did he touch you in any way without your consent?" asks Officer Won.

Jimin thinks of how best to answer this question and it takes him a moment.  "Sir, I will never speak of what that monster did to me.  I never want Jungkook to know.  THAT will be my secret I will carry to my grave."

"You do understand you did nothing wrong?" says Officer Yeonsu.

"I'm well aware that I did nothing wrong but I will not have the man I love know that monster violated me in that way. NEVER!"  Jimin says aggressively.

"Then you understand we can never charge him of rape?"  Officer Yeonsu says.

"That is the least of my worries." Jimin says calmer now.

"Well even under the best of circumstances Seungri may only get 10 years in jail for kidnapping.  Maybe 15 with the torture.  Rape adds a special circumstance that could get him as much as 25 years."  Officer won says.

"Oh, I don't care the length of time in jail.  He won't live long enough to be paroled."  Jimin says slyly.

"How would you know that Mr. Park?" Asks Officer Won.

"I believe in Karma and sometimes she is a bigger bitch than I can be."  Jimin snears.  "He won't live to see parole.  I want no more discussion of my rape. Understood?  I will not provide any information regarding it and I will deny it every occurred.  Not to save Seungri.  He will live his own special hell but to save Jungkook.  Have I made myself clear?"

"Yes, Mr. Park I believe you have.  Now what can you tell us about the treatment of Jungkook?"  asks Officer Yeonsu.

The questioning continues for an hour and a half and when completed Jimin is escorted to another larger room where his hyung are seated around a large conference table.  When he comes in they all stand up and breath a tremendous sigh of relief.

Taehyung drops Hoseok's hand and runs to hug Jimin.  Hoseok understands and just stands there and smiles at his brothers.

"Jiminie!  Oh my God!  I'm so glad you are alive."  Taehyung says excitedly.  He is kissing Jimin's face all over.  Jimin giggles and takes in his hyung's love.  Finally, Tae stops long enough for the other members to hug, kiss and welcome Jimin back into the family.

"Oh bro you were so missed.  How are you doing?  Are you okay?  Did the animal hurt you?"  Jin asks rapid fire.  Jimin giggles more.  The boys all catch up over the time Jimin and Jungkook went missing but they all anxiously wait to see Jungkook.

A doctor walks into the conference room to inform them all of Jungkook's condition.

"Amazingly and due to his physical condition Jungkook is doing surprisingly well.  He was severely dehydrated and starved and is receiving fluids to supplement his nutrition right now. I believe once he wakes back up he will begin to join the rest of us.  He just needs to rest.  He was severely exhausted."  says the doctor.

"Can I see him Doctor?"  Asks Jimin.

"Well which one is Park Jimin?" He asks.

"I'm Park Jimin."  Jimin says.

"Well he was asking for you and right now or at least until tomorrow he really needs to rest but you can visit him for a little while.  Is that okay with the rest of you?"  the doctor asks.

While the boys would love nothing more than to see Jungkook they do understand and tell Jimin they will see him back at the dorm.

A nurse escorts Jimin to a quiet, dimly lit room where Jungkook is resting peacefully on his side.  He is still deep in sleep.  Jimin takes a chair in the room and brings it to the side of the bed.  Jimin gently takes Jungkook's hand and lays his head on the bed so the first thing Jungkook sees is Jimin's beautiful face.

Quietly Jimin begins to sing softly to Jungkook...

"I love you Baby."  Jimin purrs to Jungkook as he leans in and gives his lover a gentle kiss on the lips.  "I'll be here when you wake up.  Rest my love."
