Slade

"YOURE A KILLER JUST LIKE ME, SLADE!" the inmate shouts as soon as I lock his cell.

I smirk. "I get away with it" I wink before walking off as he bangs on the bars.

My phone then goes off and I check to see its from Light, so I immediately answer. "BABE!" she shouts.

"What's wrong?!" I ask.

"MY WATER JUST FUCKING BROKE!" she continues to panic.

My eyes widen. "Ok ok! I'm on my way! COWBOY COME!" I say before rushing to my cop car with Cowboy next to me. I speed with my sirens on to prevent traffic.

"HURRY!" she screams.

"I am! Just breathe! I'll be there in a few!" I shout.

"URGH I HATE YOU!!" she groans.

"That's hormones" I say.

"STOP BEING A SMARTASS AND GET HOME! IM HAVING BAD-" she pauses "CONTRACTIONS!"

I take a sharp turn. "Hold on! I'm about to pull in!"

"MMMM SLADE!" I hear her stomping on the ground.

"Almost there, love!" I rush.

"HURRY! IM HAVING THIS IMPATIENT BABY NOW!" she shouts.

I try to form words and pull into the house. "COMING COMING!" I hang up and barge through the door to see her holding her stomach in pain. "I'm here I'm here!" I wrap my arm around her waist and help her out of the house.

"SHES COMING RIGHT NOW, SLADE!" she urges.

"I know I know, I'm getting you to the hospital!" I help her in my car and immediately speed to the hospital which thankfully isn't far at all.

"URGH!" she cries.

"I'm right here!" I hold her hand.

She snatched her hand back. "I don't wanna hold your hand!! YOU got ME pregnant!"

I smack my forehead.

I'm gonna kill this hormonal pregnant Light.

We pull into the hospital and she's immediately taken back.

I run behind her and she's put in the labor and delivery room.

Nurses rush in so I stand next to Light and hold her hand, which she squeezes tightly.

"Okay girl! You have to push as hard as you can during each contraction! Starting know!" the nurse says and Light screams as she pushes.

"You're doing good!" I say.

"SHUT UP!" she shouts as she pushes.

I put my free hand up in defeat.

"Keep pushing! This baby wants OUT!" the nurse chuckles.

Five minutes of pushing and I hear a cry.

But I don't look.
