Kei was walking on his way home when he decided to drop by the convenient store to buy foods.
He was lining up to pay when he saw Yumi came in.
"Yumi senpai!" Kei called her out.
"Eh? Kei? What are you doing here?" Yumi was startled but tried to smile.
"I live in the apartment on the next block, are you okay? You look really sick."
"Well, thats because I am."
"Do you need a help?"
"What? No. I am good. thanks."
Kei waited outside for yumi because he wanted to make sure she's fine.
"What are you still doing here?"
"I am waiting for you, senpai. you brought a lot of things huh."
"Stop calling me that. Its embarrasing. And yes, I promised my sister that i will buy her materials for her project."
"Okay, but let me help you first. You can barely hold your bags."
"Alright if you insist." Yumi sighed and Kei just smiled cheekily.
Kei and Yumi walked in the streets quietly when they arrived at her apartment.
"I can take it from here. Thank you so much."
"You are very welcome senpai."
"I told you stop that."
"Sorry, i just wanna close the gap. and also it sounds cute" Kei giggled.
Yumi just smiled and rolled her eyes. she saw Kei holding a bag of pre cooked bentou.
"Hmm how bout you come in for dinner? my sister cooked a hotpot. We can share"
Kei just stared at her blankly
"Eh??"
"Lets say this is my thank you for helping me out. Lets go in."
"Well I cant say no to a meal, ive been eating pre cooked bentos for 2 months already" Kei chuckled.
"You're so nice senpai, thank you."
Both of them entered the building and find their way to the elevator. It was quiet and no one was talking.
The elevator door opened and suddenly Yumi tripped, gladly Kei catched her by her arms.
"Senpai, are you alright?"
"Mm. I just felt dizzy."
"But your temperature is so high."
"Yeah, its been like that since morning. Its okay, lets go in."
Kei entered her apartment, It was bright and clean, its so wide and it sure feels homey.
"Please free to sit anywhere you like." Yumi pointed at the couch. Kei just nodded and sat down.
"Tadaima! Yuriko? Where are you?"
"Yuriko?" Yumi called her again and coughed.
"Okairi nee-san, sorry I was fixing my room, btw how do you feel now?"
Yuriko placed her hand in yumi's forhead to check if she still has fever, but she overlooked at the living room and some guy was sitting at their sofa.
