So... I had Chapter Ten mostly written before I (sadly) threw in the towel and I thought, "Well, shucks. I should at least publish this chapter and explain what would have happened had I continued the story. People deserve at least that much."
Here I am... explaining things that (even I) haven't completely thought out.
Okay, so I obviously left you on a cliff hanger at the end of last chapter with thoughts of "Who is this lady" and "How does she know who Jessa is"/"How does she know Jessa's dad".

The plan was that Jessa was going to spend time with this new pack, the guys helping her open up and start trusting them, while she researches what her scars mean. Originally, she thought that Tristan had wolfsbane on his claws and had basically clawed her ass during one of the times he raped her, causing scaring. Why didn't she feel the pain of them or notice them sooner? Because as Jessa was healing from the claw marks, the wolfsbane set in her skin, turning from purple to black- mixing with her blood- and stopped the healing process halfway. If all y'all have seen how Scott's tattoo from Teen Wolf (love that show!) and remember how he got it, it's similar to that. :)
After finding out how she got her scars and doing intensive research on Tristan's "death", Jessa concludes that Tristan is truly dead as Sam shows up with Blake at the Ocean Moon pack and sees that she is doing well.
But while Jessa was getting comfortable with the guys of the Ocean Moon pack and bonding with the girls, Alpha Pearl had been asking Jessa seemingly harmless questions about her old pack.
Unknowing to Jessa, Alpha Pearl used to date her Dad and was obsessed with him, believing him to be her mate. Once Jessa's dad found his mate (Jessa's mom) though, Alpha Pearl was angry and wanted revenge on him and his family. Finding out that Jessa had a boyfriend and recruiting him in her cause with promise of wealth, it evidently lead to Jessa's rape.
Since no one is aware of who Alpha Pearl really is and Jessa finally accepts Sam as her mate, everyone thinks everything is okay. Little do they know, Tristan is still alive and as Jessa, Sam, Blake - oooo, also, Blake found his mate in the Ocean Moon pack when he and Sam were hunting Jessa- and Alpha Pearl head for home.
At one point on their journey back to Jessa's father and family, Jessa get's separated from the other's - due to the mischievous Alpha Pearl, of course- and Tristan abducts her.
That was how the first book was going to end and then there was going to be a second book called MISLEAD

Which followed Alpha Samuel's life story with flashbacks, recounting his past as he searches -once again- for his mate.
In the end, you were going to learn a lot about him and about how his pack is actually peaceful and why they were rumored to be ruthless, cold blooded killers. Alpha Samuel and Jessa ended up together, Jessa actually killing Tristan and Alpha Pearl being imprisoned and sentenced to death for her crimes.
