"Ashton, come on now. I'm tired and I'm ready to go back," I whine to the boys.
"My sister should be here soon, don't worry. Her flight was suppose to be here three minutes ago. I hope nothing bad happened...." Ashton is worrying about his little sister, again.
"So which sister is this again?" asks Michael, pacing back and forth.
"She's my only sister, Keegan," Ashton answers while keeping watch.
"God, how long does it take?" Luke complains next.
"Look, Luke, she's right there now shut up!" Ashton gives a look towards him then faces toward the terminal his sister is landing in.
"Hey, baby sis! How's it going? Was the flight okay?" he asks like a worried dad, smothering her just enough to let her know he loves her.
"Oh my gosh Ash, I'm fine," she laughs with the sound of twinkling bells and harmony. It's a precious laugh that I would love to pair with a face, yet Michael and Ashton crowd her while Luke and I stand back.
Ashton spaces himself away from Keegan and I can finally see his sister. She is absolutely stunning with long, light brown hair-much like Ashton's-that reaches down to the curve of her back. She has such bright blue eyes that just makes you get distracted and have nothing on Luke's eyes. My heart flutter every time she blinks those long lashes as she's looking at me. Her cheeks go a rosy tint as we make eye contact and she takes my breath away.
"This is Keegan, she's quite the catch, but none of you can get ahold of her. She's going to be traveling with us after she begged me to, but she does have her studies to do online that means we can't interrupt her too much. Sounds good? You can get to know her more later." Ashton waits for our approving nods, except Luke is too distracted checking her out. Keegan's eyebrows narrow at his wondering eyes in what I assume and hope is annoyance.
"Uh, Luke, you listening?" I bark at Luke mainly for drooling over her and then for not listening to Ash.
"Hmm?" He asks and his eyes suddenly draw to Ashton's with slight worry.
"Of course he wasn't," laughs Michael as I give Luke a glare but he ignores it.
"This is my sister so I expect all of you to treat her just like a sister. Nothing else is going to happen. Okay?" Ashton's protective side peeks out a little, but Keegan grips his arm as if she was reassuring him that she could handle her own.
"Really, Keegan can't bothered by us too much because she has studies got accepted to uni early," Ashton says and ruffles his sister's hair.
"It's just the basics, don't brag too much," Keegan responds to Ash in a rather low voice of embarrassment and smiles sheepishly.
"Well, let's not keep One Direction waiting on us, we've got shows to play and crowds to wow." Ash says and begins to lead us out of the airport towards the hidden tour bus. The walk was tense and quiet through security and once we reached our destination, Keegan introduced herself to the crew.
"Hi, I'm Keegan," she smiles and begins to talk to some of the One Direction boys as they all smile back at her adorableness.
After watching her talk to a few people with small conversations, she walks onto the blacked out bus that has little space in the living area and consists of two black leather couches and a small dining table with attached seats. Keegan takes a seat on one of the couches and Luke and I join her.
"Uh, I'm Luke," he stutters out shyly without any confidence.
"I know, Ashton told me and he talks a lot about you guys," she nods and still has that bright smile on her face.
"Oh, really? You must think we're all crazy or something," He laughs and I absentmindedly roll my eyes and huff out the breath I was holding.
"Not at all, I think you all seem like really cool people," she responds and looks to her left at me. "And you must be the Calum Hood?" Keegan questions and her lips go into a smirk that cause her dimple to deepen.
"I am, the Calum Hood," I lean in and whisper in her ear, exaggerating "the" and making that rosy tint flush her cheeks once more.
"You'll have to tell me more about you Mr. Hood," she whispers back in my ear and her following giggle tells me I've made a good impression. I lick my lips hesitantly and decide to look at Luke's pissed off reaction.
It'll be a nice, fair competition if that's what he wants. And I'll win.
