"Success is based upon a spiritual quality, a power to inspire others."—
Vince Lombardi

"SMASSSSSSHHHHHHHHH" I Yelled with the top of my lungs only using 10% of my power and getting 900 meters. I turn around smirking to see my classmates shocked faces.

"My name is Izuku 'Deku' Midoryia and I will be the legendary hero."

Present Time

The class was in awe by the sheer power that Midoryia showed.

'My finger hurts, but at least it's not broken.' I looked back to see the class is surprised by how much power I put in my one finger.

I look over to Bakugo and he looks pissed off. '3, 2, 1 and...'

"WHAT THE FUCK WAS THAT YOU SHITTY NERD!" Bakugo yelled while running towards Midoryia.

However, before he got any closer Aizawa wrapped him with the cloth of his and canceled his quirk. "Don't make me use my quirk, it gives me dry eye." He released Bakugo as soon as he calmed down. "Whoever's next to go, go before I expel one of you."

After the test, no one got expelled but I got first place getting everyone's attention once again. But one person caught my attention, the bi-colored boy.

Time Skip

It was the end of class and everyone was getting ready to leave, however, I had other plans. "H-hey Deku"

I froze at the fact, someone called me 'Deku' other than Bakugo. I turn around to see it was the named Uraraka that called me Deku. "I'm sorry, but, what did you call me?" I said with some annoyance in my voice.

"I-I c-called you D-Deku." She said stuttering.

I sighed, "Sorry I didn't mean to sound rude, its just that nickname has a bad reputation with me." I responded and I saw her give me a questionable look.

"What do you mean, Deku sounds like it means 'you can do it'," she said with and big goofy smile.

"So why did you call me?" I said and she went back to a stuttering mess.

"W-well I was wondering if you wanted to walk to the station with me?" she said fidgeting with her fingers.

"Sorry but I can't." I saw her become heartbroken but quickly made sure she wouldn't feel bad. "I usually work out at the school gym after school, but maybe next time."

With that, I walked away getting ready for my workout.

Time Skip

"SMASH!" I hit another rock breaking it in the process. "Getting stronger," I said while looking at my hand, "but I have to get better."

"Now don't strain yourself." I heard a voice say as I turn around I see Recovery Girl. "I see you made a bigger mess than usual."

The room is surrounded by broken boulders, dents on the metal walls, and some blood here and there. "Come here Midoryia." Recover Girl said while motioning me to go to her.

I walked over and bent down, I saw the worry in her eyes. I feel and for making her worry all the time, but no matter what I have to get better no matter what happens to me. She takes out some bandages and starts to bandage my hands. "I'm quite surprised that you're still able to keep going even feeling all that pain." Recovery girl said with a small smile on her face.

"After a while, you start to get used to this type of thing," I responded with a deadpan tone. "Afterall pain goes away."

She just sighs and hugs me. "You know, " she starts "you remind me a lot of my son, he always wanted to be a hero and he had such a powerful quirk. But one the league came to attack the school, he was the first to jump in to defend everyone." I saw stay to tear up and it hurt me to see her sad. "when I got there to treat the injured I saw him dead on the ground. *sniff* But he saved his class, and I'm afraid that maybe one day I'll lose you too."
