Left Me Liquefied

Look what you did to my mind,

I hold it before you,

liquid resting within the palms,

my thoughts dripping between my fingers.

There is comfort in this inability to solidify

a heart melting before your eyes.

My soul becomes a mist of steam

from the heat of your words

and the flick of your tongue,

evaporating every part

of my entire being.
