Things had changed massively, for Virgil and the rest of the sides...
An audible yet silent sigh left the anxious side, who sat up in his too empty bed , eventually moving to get up. He did not expect to be able to sleep tonight.
He shouldn't feel this way , he tried to convince himself. Roman and him had bonded a bit, Patton was a kind side as always , and Logan regarded him with the usual respect. And Deceit hadn't event butt in anymore.
Virgil left his room, heading to the kitchen to get some water to drink, his hoodie wrapped right around him. He bumped right into someone, who caught him by the waist. He froze , gripping onto the persons shirt- sash. It was Roman of all people.
Roman noticed how he froze , letting go of Virgil, "I'm so sorry my chemically imbalanced romance , I thought you were going to fall and -" He was rambling.
Virgil shook his head , muttering , "no, no... it's fine ... I'll just.. I'm sorry.. but uh.. "
Now it's Roman who is a bit worried , "Virgil , what is it?" No insults , no nicknames..
Virgil replied, "Can you hug me...?"
Roman looked shocked , and Virgil immediately felt deep regret , backing up and mumbling apologies.
Virgil was interrupted by Roman hugging him tightly , holding the anxious side close.
And Virgil realized he could be less lonely , and less alone.
