"Why are you so unhappy?"

It'd been a long day, and Virgil waited until the other sides had went to bed , to sneak through the hallways. He soon found his way to the familiar darker side of the imagination, where the lights flickered and quiet ominous sound were made.
Virgil opened an all too familiar yellowed door, peeking in to see a curled up figure on the bed. Deceit.
Deceit sat up when the door opened, and it was barely light enough to see his tear streaked face. It was obvious he'd been crying.
Virgil felt a twinge of guilt, but simply asked in an angry tone, "why do you keep coming back?? You're the villain! You made yourself out to be the bad guy! The light side isn't for you.. I mean, pretending to be Patton? Of all people...?!?"
Deceit stood up, wiping his face before chuckling. Virgil took a step back, but Deceit took a few steps forward, gently yet firmly gripping the other's shirt collar. He said in a voice part anger, and part sadness, "You all made me this way. You and i know i'm not fully a dark side, Virge."
Virgil shook his head, "N-no.. you're a monster. You lie and decieve and.."
Deceit cut him off with sad laughter, stepping back and smiling sadly, "You all made me this way, You needed someone to blame, a villain. You and I, we make up Thomas's self preservation..", another weak chuckle and he added, with a raised voice, "You wanted a monster, so you made one..
You got what you wanted Virgil.
I'm stuck here all alone, and you get... a family..
Why are you so unhappy??"
There were tears, weren't they? Deceit sat down, drawing his knees to his chest. Before Virgil could reply, Deceit muttered, "Get out. Go back to your perfect family.. I'll be okay.."
Virgil had no choice, as he had been summoned for a video, mumbling a soft, "Deceit..."
