"Do you? You know love me?" I ask regretting.
"Yeah I think I do." He responds. "Do you?" He gets off of me and we stand in the water. "Wait what am I saying? You can't love me." He frowns.
"And why's that?" I question.
"I'm a fuck up. You can't love a fuck up." He looks down.
I cup his face with my hands.
"It's too late." I smiled.
"What? What's too late?"
I cupped his face. Making our eyes meet. "I love you Luke." I smiled.
"What?"
"I. Love. You. Luke." I said it slower.
"Yeah I heard you."
He grabbed my waist and pulled me close. He smashed his lips to mine. We were standing like that for a few minutes, until I wrapped my legs around his torso, like he did to me when we first got in the water.
"You're such a girl." Luke mocks me.
"I am a girl." I smirk.
"Oh I know." He smirked.
"Shut up." I pecked him on his lips. "Want to leave?"
"Yeah it's midnight probably should be getting you back home." Luke said.
"Yeah we should go." I say.
"Okay let's get dressed."
We get in the car and it goes back to complete silence. I set my arm on the arm rest. Luke must have noticed it because he intertwine our hands and kissed it. We drove like that the whole way home. Complete silence. It wasn't awkward or anything it was actually very comforting. 35 minutes later we were back at my house.
"Where's your mum?" Luke asked.
"In Melbourne for a week. Something to do with her work and she needed to stay there." I said.
We both stepped out the car.
"I'll walk you up." Luke said.
I just nodded and we walked up. Luke and I stood still for a while as we always do for some odd reason. He leaned down to kiss me. Our lips were moving in perfect sync. I broke our kiss.
"Would you like to stay?" I said in a whispery tone.
"Yeah." He smiled. "What do you want to do?"
"I don't know." I said.
"Well we can start with this..."
Luke forcibly presses his lips to mine. He pushed me up against the wall running his hands all through my body. Luke stopped.
"What?" I said.
"Should we take this upstairs?" He said placing chase kisses on my neck.
"Yeah." I quickly pecked him on the lips.
I took his hand and we walked up stairs. I shut my door and he pushed me up against my bed. Luke was straddling me. He started sucking roughly on the middle of my neck. which I let out a moan I didn't know I was holding.
"Wait Nina." He breaks our kiss.
"Yeah Luke." I breath.
"Will you be my girlfriend?" He stutters.
I was about to speak until he cuts me off.
"Look I understand if you don't want to. I mean I don't blame you I'm pretty fucked up but I'd thought I'd ask because we both love each other and..." Luke rambled.
"Luke shut up already so I can say yes."
The biggest smile was plastered on his face.
