A/N: In this one-shot Veronica tries to make Archie brownies. But she isn't a good cook, at all.

Veronica stood at the kitchen counter with her eyebrows scrunched, patting her chin in confusion. "Come on Veronica, it can't be that hard to make brownies." Veronica thought aloud. She had decided to wake up extra early to make brownies for her boyfriend, Archie Andrews. This all came about when Archie outspoke his love for brownies while at school, from that point Veronica decided to make the best brownies just for him.

While reading on her phone the directions for brownies, she tied her newly purchased apron on. Let's just say that Veronica didn't know her way around the kitchen. While attempting to make The Best Brownies Ever, she ended up with the complete opposite. Most people would say her "Brownies" looked like, and probably tasted like a brick. But the brownies weren't the only issue, she also ended up with a face full of various ingredients.

She sighed, sitting down, staring at her absolute mess of a kitchen, and well... her sad attempt at brownies. "Maybe if I add a little of frosting it will taste better!" She thought, thinking it was a perfect idea. After adding the frosting, she decided to package it up in a cute tin. "Perfect!" She smiled, feeling confident in her masterpiece. The next day at school is when Veronica decided to give her gift.

When she finally arrived at school the next morning, she was beyond excited. Hopping out of her car, she carefully placed the brownies into her purse, smiling to herself. Feeling accomplished, Veronica made her way to the school lounge hoping to spot out Archie. When she finally made her way there. She, in fact, found Archie, sitting in his normal spot on the couch. She smiled walking over to her friends, the core four.

"Archiekins!" Veronica spoke loudly, taping him on the shoulder. Archie turned around, a smile plastered on his face. "I have a grand surprise for you! Do you guys mind if I borrow him for a second?" She spoke again, pointing the question towards Betty and Jughead, they both nodded, smiling. Veronica quickly pulled Archie up, he seemed startled at first, but you could see he was excited. They made they're way to the music room, where they could be alone.

"Okay, sit down," Veronica said pointing to the stool near them. Archie smiled, "What is all this for Ronnie?" He spoke with excitement. She grinned "Remember how you told me you loved brownies?" She said bunching her hands together, Veronica was more nervous then she would ever admit. He looked confused but nodded, Veronica quickly motioned to her bag, pulling out the packaged tin of homemade brownies. "Well, I made you some, with a Veronica Lodge touch." She spoke, stretching her hands out with the tin on top.

Archie chuckled, "Wow, I really do have the best girlfriend." Grabbing her waist as he spoke, kissing her lightly. "Now for the taste test," Veronica said, opening the small tin, and pulling out a small square. Veronica motioned for Archie to open his mouth, and he did. She placed the Brownie in his mouth, and by his expression, you could see the struggle to keep it down. But Archie Andrews loved this girl, and if he could spare her knowing how they really tasted he would, so he spoke, "Best brownies ever." She smiled at him, "Really? You mean it." Blushing at his words.

"Of course, anything from you is the best," Archie said pulling her closer. Veronica blushed at his words, "Archie Andrews, I love you." Archie started to lean in for a kiss when Veronica wiped brownie frosting on his noes. They both shared a chuckle, "Let me get that for you." Veronica said, pecking his noes. "Like I said the best girlfriend ever." He said smiling, leaning in for a kiss. As they kissed Veronica thought to herself...

I make the words worst brownies, and yet here we are...

She chuckled causing Archie to pull away, he smiled and asked, "What is it?" She blushed as she spoke, "Best boyfriend ever." From that day on Veronica made a pact to make Archie her brick brownies every weekend. And Archie never once complained about the stale brownies he was given, in fact, he treated them like the best brownies he's ever had...
