{6} A Toxic Type Of Love

A/N: Honestly I have no clue what this is, I sat down to write and this was what came of it. Short story, this is a description of a toxic love that Archie and Veronica shared. Basically, it's about how much they love each other. Enjoy!  

"Us against the world." Her words echoed as the young man tried to sleep at night. Archie and Veronica were the diamond couple, the relationship everyone wanted, or so that's what everyone saw. Nobody heard the arguments, saw as the tears streamed down her face, or how every time he yelled she would flinch in fear. All of Riverdale had hoped for just a portion of what they had, but little did everyone know it was more toxic than a thousand chemicals combined together.

But what could they do? A first love is something that even the strongest people feel weakened by. Archie and Veronica loved each other, so much that at times it caused them agony. Yet the love they shared wasn't ordinary, their love wasn't safe. The two would do anything and everything for each other even if it caused pain to others or themselves. Archie and Veronica had a shared passion, their passion was loving each other. And every atom in their bodies told them it was right.

But since they were so naive and young they couldn't speculate right from wrong. The loved they shared consumed their entire bodies and minds. It clouded their best judgments, and little by little, they tore each other apart. But to the two teens, this was normal, they thought it was okay because their love could conquer anyone and anything. But it blinded them.

Veronica and Archie, two people that loved each other more than themselves. Even if all they inflicted on one another was pain, they had a beautiful love. Even though they both were deprived of their sanity, their love was unlike any other. It's not the typical love that someone would want, but it was a type of love that everyone desired to have. The love they shared was the kind people only saw in television shows or movies. And to Archie and Veronica, that's what made it worth fighting for.

No matter how many times they fought, no matter how many tears were shredded, they would be together forever. Because their love was the kind you only get one opportunity to have. And for the rest of their lives, they would continue to always find a way back to each other. The raven-haired women and the red-headed man would share this love forever. Sure, if most people knew the truth they wouldn't see them as the diamond couple any longer. Truth be told, if people knew the truth, Archie and Veronica would probably be classified as the most toxic relationship in Riverdale.

But in the end it was simple, they would live together, they would grow old together, and they would die together. And that's precisely how Archie and Veronica viewed it. Because their love was put above everything else. It was toxic yet the most beautiful love anyone would ever come across.

SKSKS!!! I have no idea what this is! Like I said I sat down to write and this is what came of it. I actually had a lot of fun describing their love rather than having dialogue and what not. I guess this is me getting my feelings out in AU form. Lol!
