You and Dave were making your way home when you heard an obnoxiously loud voice stops you both.

"Hey, you two fuck nuggets," this stops the both of you, "geez Dave, you said that you were going to meet me out by the library."

The albino boy pauses when he looks at Dave, who looked kind of like shit.

"Okay, that's fair."

You sigh and glance over at Dave, who still looked as unemotional as earlier.

"Fine, you can just come to my place." He shrugs.

"Yeah, whatever."

He walks towards you both as you turn around. You stay quiet as you continue to help Dave along.

"Oh, you haven't met any of my friends, have you?" Dave asks.

You shake your head in return.

"Well, this is Karkat," he introduces, "and Karkat, this is my new sibling (y/n)."

"Wait, Karkat?" you ask, "you mean that guy who's been talking to me over Pesterchum, the one who types like a dipshit."

"Hey, I do not type like a dipshit."

"Dude, you've been talking to my sibling?"

"So what, I didn't say anything inappropriate."

Dave just grunts and looks forwards once again.

"Y'know, you look almost like I would have imagined you," you laugh, "and you're just as angry in real life as you are when you type."

"Oh shut the fuck up."

Getting back home took a little longer because of Dave's injuries, but eventually you made your way to the apartment.

"Oh thank fuck." You grunt, practically dropping Dave onto the couch.

"Ah fuck, watch it." He hisses in pain.

"Just wait here, I'll go get a cloth to clean you up," you sigh, "Karkat, make sure he doesn't cry."

You hear Dave laugh sarcastically as you walk into the bathroom. You grab a cloth from the cabinet and dampen it. You wander back out and sit on one side of Dave.

"Okay, look at me."

Dave turns to you and you begin to remove the excessive amount of blood that had poured from his nose earlier. You wanted to ask if he had been bullied before, but you were pretty sure you already knew the answer.

None of you talk until you finish cleaning up the blood. By the time you were finished, the once light blue cloth was now crimson. You wince at the sight of it. You ball it up and throw it in the wash basket in the laundry.

When you get back both Dave and Karkat were talking, about what you didn't really know. When you got back they look over at you.

"So, I'll just head to my room." You say awkwardly and begin to walk off.

"What? Nah, just come hang out with us."

You blink before turning around to see that he was actually serious.

"Oh, alright." You shrug, trying to act casual.

Dave nods, "let's head to my room."

You follow along with Karkat and the still limping Dave. Once you all get into his room you make yourself comfortable on Dave's bed, avoiding the bottle of apple juice and various records that were strewn about.

"So, what do guys even do for entertainment?" you ask.

"Eh, usually I just mess with my turntables and Karkat watches shitty movies on his laptop." Dave shrugs.

"They are not shitty, someone like you wouldn't enjoy such movies, but then again you probably watch shitty 70s movies like Jaws." Karkat snaps back.

If you could see Dave's eyes, you knew that he would have rolled his eyes.

"So, what movie are you gonna watch?" you ask him.

Karkat seems to sputter for a moment before replying "Love, Actually."

You just nod in reply, because you knew that if you spoke you'd just laugh.

"Do you... want to watch it with me?" he asks, rubbing the back of his neck.

"Sure." You nod.

Karkat pulls his laptop from his bag and takes a seat beside you. You were never really one for these kinds of movies, but you didn't really mind. Once the movie began you leant against the pillows behind you and got comfortable while being able to clearly see the movie.

"Just don't start making out on my bed or something." You hear Dave's smartass comment.

"Oh shut the fuck up." Karkat snaps back.

"We'll try not to." You reply sarcastically.

Dave snickers as a weird squawk comes from Karkat's mouth.

~~~
"C'mon man, just wake them up." you hear Dave's voice.
Karkat makes a few grumbling sounds before your shoulder is shaken. You snap your eyes open to see that you were face to face with Karkat.
"Shit!" you exclaim and fall off of the bed.
"Nice one."
"Fuck off."
You groan and sit up, rubbing your now sore head.
"Sorry about that Karkat." You apologise.
"It's fine." He grunts.
"Okay, well, see you tomorrow Karkat."
You just wave as Karkat exits, bag swung onto his back. Once you hear him leave the apartment, you groan and lay back on the ground.
"Wow, that would've been embarrassing."
"Shut it, Dave."
You get to your feet and stretch, your back cracking.
"Man, that sounded nasty."
You just shrug, grinning lazily. As you were walking out of the room you notice Bro, and realise that you needed to ask him about the gala.
"Hey Bro," you call to him, making him stop and turn around, "could I go to the gala with a few friends of mine?"
"Sure thing, just keep your phone on you."
"Thank you." You smile and head towards the fridge.
You decide that you'd just have whatever for dinner and pull out a few pieces of cold pizza out. You think about heating them up, but decide to just head straight for your room. You set the plate down on the desk and turn on your computer.
"Might as well waste some more time."
