Jerome's POV

Mitch stopped the car in front of the hospital. Lilah opened the door and got of my lap.

I followed after her, as Mitch grabbed Daniella from the backseat, holding her bridal style and running inside the hospital.

By the time me and Delilah caught up to him, Daniella was gone. I looked towards Delilah, her eyes watered.

I put my arm around her, she flinched and shook it off. "I'm not going to hurt you.." I whispered, she looked up at me.

"Why are you helping me?" she asked under a cracking voice. I sighed.

"Because I really like you Delilah.." I said grabbing her hands. She looked at me, an unreadable expression in her eyes.

"I can't like you Jerome..." she said slipping her hands from mine and walking away.

I felt a hand go on my shoulder. "it's alright man, you tried" Mitch said.

"I guess" I said and walked back to my seat.

Daniella's POV

I woke up to be blinded by light. I looked around..hospital?

I groaned and sat up, seeing Lilah sitting in a pink chair sleeping. I smiled and threw a pillow at her, making her jump almost falling out of the chair.

"Your awake!" she said catching eyes with me, I smiled and nodded as she hugged me, being careful of all the wires.

"How long was I out for?" I asked confused on what had happened.

"Umm a week" she said looking anywhere but at me.

"Oh.." I said, "what happened, exactly?" I asked, she groaned and sat back in her chair.

"Team Ass Crack knocked you out and left saying that they hoped... hoped you wouldn't make it..." she said her voice straining, "so then Jerome and Mitch came over... they got you to the hospital and-"

"Wait what?" I asked.

"Dani I-"

"Explain" I snapped, she doesn't understand that I.. We.. can't trust them... they will do something and it won't end well.

"Dani I wouldn't have gotten here on time to help just please... I'm sorry.." she explained, I felt my rage go down. I nodded.

"It's alright" I whispered, "thank you"

"Your my sister.. I wasn't going to let you go anywhere" she said, I smiled as she hugged me again.
