Chapata 38: Just Wait

Mitch's POV

As Daniella and Delilah turned to see Jerome and me, I could tell Jerome was hurt by what Dani said. I know that he would never hurt Lilah, I should know this, he's been my friend since forever.

But Dani must not trust him.

"You know what I'm done." exclaimed Daniella, she left her room and started walking to the front door.

"Danie-"

" Don't even try Mitch, my own sister hates me right now and so does your best friend, so why should I even try." she said. She walked out the door, slamming it in the process.

I drew out a breath and rubbed my face. Why does this always happen! Delilah and Jerome get close and then Dani tells Lilah she can't be with him, then Lilah and Jerome are back to square one.

I hear another door slam and I turn and see Jerome sitting out by the bathroom door with his face in his hands.

I walk over to him and sit down next to him.

"What am I suppose to do." Jerome's muffled voice says in his hands.

"I don't know biggums, I really don't." I say.

Jerome takes his face out of his hands and turns to me.

"Do you know what it's like, to love a girl and not be able to love her without hurting someone else." he whisper-speaks.

I sigh and my shoulders raise up and down. I honestly have never seen him like this, not even with his ex.

"Please help me convince Dani, Mitch. Please." he begs me.

"We'll have to see J, Daniella is a tough cookie, you and I both know that."

Jerome stands up and puts out his hand and helps me up. "What am I suppose to do till then." he says.

"Just wait, I guess. And see what happens."
