Chapata 22: FlashBacks

Delilah's POV

Lilah.. what's he gonna do with her?

I looked up from my position on the cement outside the hospital. They'd taking Jerome to the ER about an hour ago, and I'd been just here... being the idiot I am.

Dani doesn't remember what happened, but I do.

=FLASH FUCKING BACK TO HELL=

"Ella! Deli! Come on, we're gonna go on an adventure!" My dad yelled from the bottom of the stairs.

11 year old Daniella and me were in our bedrooms, playing with our worn-out dolls. We'd always had these dolls since we were 5 yet we still played with them.

I hesitantly looked over at Dani and she looked scared. We couldn't trust our dad... he had changed from nice to mean just like that.

We got up and walked down the stairs. But little did we know, our dad had bottles and hit us both over the head, knocking us out.

I had woken up, naked, in a hotel bed when I could hear dad in another room. I got up and looked and seen my dad and knocked out Dani in a bed.

=FLASH FUCKING BACK OVER=

He'd raped both me and Dani, but she didn't know. She never knew. And that's what I'd be afraid of. Her finding out... more than just me telling her.

I didn't know I was crying until someone taped my shoulder. I wiped the tears away and looked and seen Mitch. He sat down next to me and looked at me. "Lilah, please tell me..." he warily said.

I felt tears leak from my eyes. "I-I don't think you'd l-like the outcome o-of it."

"Lilah.... just ... please." he asked in a soft voice.

"Don't call me Lilah." I mumbled.

I told him the story and he looked like he was about to burst with anger by the ending.

"Holy Fuck. I can't bel-" I cut him off.

"Neither can I Mitch, that's why we left our dad. Do you think you could handle that if it happened to you." I questioned him.

Mitch blew out an angry sigh and we headed back into the hospital.

It is my fault there weren't any posts in the however many day time span. Eric and I usually start to talk about the book and we start to write the chapter after one another.

But I just hadn't come around to type one. Same with my own books.
