Chapata 6: The Memories You Make

Delilah's POV

So this is what it feels like being locked inside a janitors closet. Smelling bleach and detergent. Check that off my bucket list.

"Do you know when we're gonna get out of this place," Dani asked from... beside me? I can't tell, I can barely see.

"Nope." I say, popping the 'p'. I carefully stand up and try and look for a switch.

"Find anything?"

"No... I can barely see in here."

After what seemed like forever, I found the switch. I flipped it on and the room lit up.

"Back in business" Dani says going towards the door.

"Well this sucks."

"No dip, your the one that got us stuck in here."

"Well in the one who helped you get away from them Dani, so don't yell at me." I say, this is torture.

(TIME SKIP CAUSE I CAN'T THINK OF SHIP!)

I hear a door unlocking and low and behold, it's Mitch.

"What are you guys doing here?" Mitch asks us.

"We could ask you the same thing Mitchy boi." I say.

"Well I don't know, I get bored, what about you two" he say, pointing at us.

Geez, no one likes a finger pointer.

"We were escaping you and your posses hurtings." Daniella said, obviously pissed off.

"Ahh, I see. Well you guys know its like 3:00 right?"

"Well no we don't Mitchell! We were stuck in a damn janitors closet for how long! You son of a bi-" Dani covers my mouth before I could say the rest.

"Well we're leaving, bye!" Dani grabs my arm and we sprint out of the closet and to home.

I run into the bathroom and just sit there, crying my eyes out.

I may build up my self esteem quickly, but I break down to fast.

Jesus, it was worse with dad, but now this!?

"Lilah open the door right now! Please Delilah." I don't want to, but before I can react to what my bodies doing, I open the door, and sob into my twin sisters' arms.

"Come on Lilah, lets go watch some Spongebob, it'll be better."

I walk towards the couch and lay down. Why is Daniella always the stronger one of us. I don't get it.

"What episode do ya wanna watch girly?" Dani says excitedly. Making me smile.

"Lets watch the one where Spongebob has everyone come over to his house and watch his photos from his family vacation, Ms. Daniella Ashton Morgan Neice." saying the last part with a British accent.

"Why of course Mz. Delilah Adora Morgan Neice. With pleasure."

We both bust out laughing.

"Can you believe that our parents didn't notice they made our names with the initials to spell out DAMN!" Dani says.

"I know right!"

These are the perks of having a family, not a big one, but with the ones you love. And the memories you make
