Different Feelings ~Ghost Hunt~

Mansion part 1

~At SuperNatural Research(SNR)~

Mai's POV

After last night, I've been feeling a bit distracted. I can't get that guy's voice and the other guy's picture out of my head. Monk told me to stay home but I didn't want to.

So here I am in my office bored out of my mind. Sigh. Today's a slow day and a hot one too... ' I'm going to get a cold drink,' I thought as I got up from my desk and walked out of my office. As I was walking out, the front door opens with the sound of a bell.

A young looking lady came in. The lady had a black pencil skirt and a white button up shirt with no sleeves. Her brown hair was straight and her eyes were black with a little hit of brown. "Is this SNR?" She sounded really scared. "Yes, I'm Mai Taniyama. Are you alright miss?" I asked her worried while I motion her to sit down on the couch. "I'm not that good," she said as she went to sit on the couch. I went into the kitchen area for two cold water bottles then sat down giving her one of the bottles, she was looking around like she was being followed by a serial killer. "What is the problem? Miss...," I trailed off not knowing her name. "Oh, I'm Atsuko Kuba," she turn to me. She looks tired and from the look of her eyes she's terrified of something. "Mrs. Atsuko what seems to be the problem?" I asked getting my notebook out from a drawer in the center table. "Well.. I've been having problems in the mansion of my deceased great grandfather. A day after me, my husband, and two children moved into the mansion, we've been seeing and hearing things. But we brushed it of since it was a old mansion and cause no body lived in it for so long. Until two weeks ago...," she stopped for a moment and then continued, "My family would see a silhouette of a man follow me around the house. Things will get thrown across the room or would appear in a different room. We would hear yelling and thuds from one of the rooms that is locked. My great grandmother said they lost the key to that room a long time ago so there isn't a way to get in. The worst part is that my children and I would have marks of hands around our bodies... And they aren't my husbands hands... they are larger than his.. And I know he wouldn't do that to our children and he hasn't put his hands on me like that..." Tears started falling down her pale-ish cheeks after she finished explaining what has happen in her mansion.

Being me, I got up and hugged her. After a few minutes of me comforting her, I assured her I would do everything I can to help her and her family. She had given me her address before she went on home. When I was about to close the door I felt the air outside shift.

"There is someone following Mrs.Atsuko...," I said while closing the door. I picked up my notebook and drew the silhouette of what I saw when she left. After that I called everyone and told them about our new case. Two days from today we are going to Mrs.Atsuko's mansion.
