Monk's P.O.V

As we sat at the table in home base with the photo album and Yasu's laptop. We figured out that the picture that Mai told me about, that was in her dream, was a photo of Lilith Moto, Kenshin Moto, and their daughter Kazuki Moto. From what Yasu found out about the history of the house and history about Lilith, it seems that Lilith was married to a man named Gorou Yamauchi. Gorou was the first owner of this mansion that was built 30 years ago. From what Yasu said Lilith left Gorou for being too jealous and abusive with her and her one year old daughter. Gorou had been trying to find Lilith each and everyday, until he found and kidnapped her with her daughter. They were rescued after a month had passed but Gorou swore he would find her and she will be his. Which he escaped from jail a month after and killed himself, Kazuki that was 4 years old and Lilith. Leaving Kenshin, their eight month old son, Kazuo Moto, and Kichirou Moto who was their two year old son.

Looking back at the picture of the family, there was a bit of a resemblance between Mai and Lilith.

"Monk we're ready," John said bringing out the supplies needed for the plan. "Alright, let's get going then," I said while getting up from my chair and heading to the office room with the others following me.

No One's P.O.V

As the group was about twenty feet from the room they felt a strong presence which they knew it was Gorou. "I feel three presences instead of two," Masako spoke up. "What do you mean you feel three presences?" John asked while everyone stopped walking to look at her. "I feel a little girl's presence, I feel her sadness," Masako said teary eyed. "It must be Kazuki, she might be waiting for her mother so they can cross over together," John said while Ayako hugs Masako. "When we exorcise Gorou, we can't release our hands from one another. So let's do this together," as Monk said that everyone grabbed someone's hand. As they walked in one by one without releasing their grip on the other person's hand. Monk being the first person in and John being the last they put candles in front of each member and lit them. Even tho the candles were lit the room still was dark. "John start exercising," Monk ordered John. As John started talking, the door, that was left opened, slammed shut. John didn't stop and none of them jumped since they have prepared for anything to happened. The candles kept flickering a lot, but they didn't light up the room not even a bit. The room felt colder and colder until the gang could see their breath. The door that led to the secret room opened with a loud thud, and there stood Gorou with Mai in his arms passed out.

"I told you that I will never give her back to you! She is mine and mine only!" Gorou screamed at them but they stood their ground. Monk had an urge to let go of Ayako's hand to get Mai back but she tighten her grip on Monk's hand to let him know that he shouldn't go. John looked at all of them and nodded which made them all nod back. Then they started to recite the first passage of the New Testament of the Bible together which made Gorou a bit nervous but wouldn't show it.

"HA! That won't work on me! I'm MUCH stronger than you think I am," Gorou laughed at their plan but then his laugh slowly went away. The SNR group closed their eyes and kept reciting the passage louder and louder. Gorou saw that the candles that were lit started to glow in the darkness, which made him more worried. A light started to appear around the SNR group and started to make the darkness disappear as they kept reciting. Gorou was afraid now and dropped Mai on a pillow that was in the right place at the right time. The light around the group got bigger and brighter that Gorou couldn't move from where he was at. The light seemed to consume all the darkness that was there until Gorou was the only thing left.

Then they opened their eyes to see Mai on the floor and Gorou just floating above her with fear in his face. John then took a step forward and took out an opened little bottle of holy water with his only free hand. "Leave this family be on the name of God!" John screamed at Gorou and soaked him with holy water. Gorou screamed a bloody scream as he turned into pure light and vanished into the ground. As soon as Gorou vanished, Monk ran toward Mai's side to see if she is hurt. When Monk held Mai in his arms, Lilith's spirit rose from Mai's body and Kazuki's spirit came out from her hiding spot were she saw everything that happened.
