The bot's movement was slow, but it's calculations were perfect. Keith's mind had to make the smart decision faster than Pidge's technology. That was nearly impossible. However, Keith had his advantages. His footwork was flawless, and he always struck up his sword with impeccable timing. He continued to battle the robot, focused completely on his opponent. Blinded with intense rage from the current, tedious battle, Keith failed to notice Lance and Allura enter the room. He circled around the machine and ran towards it, gripping his blade tightly. He moved his arm back, ready to gain the momentum in his swing he needed to impale the robot. It wasn't until then that Keith recognized the all too familiar tone of Lance's voice behind him. Out of pure surprise, Keith slipped and crashed down onto the training room floor.

Keith shifted off of his stomach and rolled to his back. He immediately pushed up his sword as a shield, right as the bot advanced on him. He kicked the robot off of him with his legs, and in a swift movement, sliced the bot in half. His audible, heavy breathing slowed. Keith reached up to wipe the dripping sweat from his forehead. He had obviously been overexerting himself.

He glanced at Allura and Lance who looked slightly intimidated. They strolled over to him, Lance's gaze flickering between Keith and the severed robot. Lance stood under the bright training room lights, his blue armor glistening like gold. His perfect smile soon followed, almost sparkling as much as his armor was.

"Hey, take it easy!" Lance nudged Keith's side, his smile fading into a smirk. "Show off..." he mumbled after, Allura giving a slight nod.

Keith scowled, brushing his bangs out of his eyes. "I came in here to practice, without even knowing you'd walk in here! Who would I be showing off too anyways?"

"Woah, woah, woah! Cool your jets Keith! We all already know Allura isn't into you, she's into me. After all, she is my girlfriend. Let's be honest though..." Lance gave a wink directed towards Allura. "Who wouldn't be into me?"

Keith rolled his eyes, and Allura's laugh followed. "Well," she said, "Apparently Keith."

"Clearly," Keith replied. His sword shifted back to the small purple blade, the Blade of Marmora's sign glowing at the end. He turned away from the couple and walked out of the room, tense and annoyed.

Keith strutted through the castle, eventually ending up in his room. He sat on his bed, running his fingers through his mullet. Showoff? Keith thought, the word nagging at him. To Allura? Yeah, right. Who'd be into Allura? She's pretty, but her mood swings... she's happy one moment and then crying the next! And not to mention how much she loves to boss people around and try to solve problems that aren't even hers. Only an idiot like Lance could actually like her. I can't say I'm surprised though, he's only into "hot" girls who play hard to get. Only into hot girls.

Keith leaned back on his bed. He was having another mental letout, as he calls it. Why is Lance even on our team? All he does is hook up with girls and shoot at guys who we've basically already beaten in a fight. Why's Allura even into him? She shouldn't be, he's... he's not cool, or hot... or anything else! He's not even half my level! You know what, who cares about who he's hooking up with this time?

Keith rubbed his fingers against his temple, frustrated and disorganized. He didn't care, so why was he such a mess? "There's got to be someone who can listen to me! I'm not alone in this, am I? Am I really the lone wolf?" Keith whispered to himself, hoping to ease his temper. Keith observed the wall close to his bed, his eyes landing on the team photo they had taken after one of their successful missions. His eyes looked over Allura and her picture-perfect crystal blue eyes, tan complexion, and rose pink Altean markings. Of course Lance would like her. But why did that fact feel like his heart was burning in his chest. Keith recognized the common feeling as anger. He tore his eyes away from the image of Allura, looking at Shiro in the picture next to her.
